Perfect example of a motherboard; reasonably priced, integrated wifi, standard layouts (M-ATX, DIMM 2+4 for standard DDR), hestsinks included where beneficial, port selection is fantastic, VRMs are good enough to handle even budget PSUs for high end components (outside extreme overclocks, in which case, your issues are the OC with budget PSU, not this mobo) Highly recommended for any build that supports M-ATX for speed and ease of installation, especially if you want to maximise AM4 longevity rather than upgrade to AM5. I'd reccommend the 5700X3D with this, if you're running a mid-high end gaming rig. I run that with the 7800XT - zero complaints Purchased one for myself, was so confident in it's quality, I purchase for other's builds too

Fitted to replace an old b450 so I could increase slots memory and use more onboard headers for fans, also use argb headers instead of the external hub which has given me so many more light effects. The extra M2 slot has helped remove a hdd so now only running 2 ssd and 2 m2 nvme. The fitting and altering mounting points took only minutes, removal of the amd cooler mounts allowed use of my upgraded cooler and fan, the positioning of the headers is clever and allows for far easier cable tidy. The onboard C type connection for front panel is a nice addition from my old board meaning 1 less pcl card to refit. On firing up the board automatically asked for permission to download the drivers and app for gigabyte making the last of the setup easy and fast. All in all a good upgrade at a sensible price which has allowed some improvements to my old system. Do not forget when changing your motherboard if your on windows to log into microsoft and set up your digital licence for the ability to reactivate windows before you swap or there may be big problems after the hardware change I forgot and had a headache to get it sorted out. Easy to set up the digi licence for your windows and plenty of youtube guides if needed. Highly recommend this board.

This is an excellent motherboard for the price. I bought it to facilitate a new build for my son‘s computer enabling me to utilise some spare parts from my own upgrade earlier in the year. My son is extremely piece of computer that is running very steadily with no issues whatsoever. Whilst I did not have to, I chose to upgrade the bios prior to full installation and this was absolutely a piece of cake to do. All parts fitted perfectly. The other board came well packaged and in perfect condition.

Great motherboard, very easy to install, as all motherboards are really. Nice solid heatsinks, clean layout, loads of room between slots and important areas like the Sata connectors. Good clearance between RAM slots and CPU allowing for avarious coolers. Ready for Ryzen 5000 out the box, no updates required whatsoever, dropped my Ryzen 5 5600X straight in and booted first go. 2 nvme slots, very handy, with screw holes for the different length drive options 👍 XMP enabled automatically and applied the correct RAM timings so I didn't have to actually adjust anything in the bios which was a big plus. Great board for the price. PCI-I 4.0 aswell to get wh most out of the latest GPU's (if you are lucky enough to find one that doesn't require a second mortgage)

Best upgrade yet

My first Gigabyte motherboard coming from Asus. The AMD CPU runs hot making the cpu fan run fast and noisy. The Asus motherboard has software that allows 3 speed modes, but does not allow precise fan speed control of each fan. Had I known that Gigabyte provide this, I would have made the switch years ago. Gigabte's software allows precise fan curve control for cpu and case fans, every one, and the case fans can even be turned off as well. Important if you want a silent system. I got 2 Noctua case fans, and these are silent when running, and this extra cooling has in turn lowered the CPU fan speed making that quieter as well. Also, gigybte software is very lean, unlike the bloat that comes with Asus software.

This thing looks and feels way more premium when you've got it in your hands compared to how it looks in photos and videos. The brownish colour of the PCB is not noticeable at all unless you shine a light directly at it. Something about cameras or the lighting people use for videos must exaggerate that effect. Don't be discouraged about taking this cheaper option just because some of the slightly more expensive ones look "cooler". This looks cool, if you don't want any RGB on the board itself. It has everything your typical gamer needs. If you need more from a motherboard you probably already know it and know what to look for. Pair this with a 5800X3D CPU and, for gaming, you are performing at a similar level to a 13600K or a 7600X. Yet, it'll cost you far less since the motherboard costs way less than the newer sockets and you probably already have some decent DDR4 RAM. The one I got already has a BIOS that's compatible with 5000 Series CPUs out of the box. It is v1.3 of this board. There was a BIOS update available though which apparently optimises the 5800X3D CPU further but it was easy to update using Gigabyte's @BIOS program from Windows which can be downloaded from their website. Don't use their BIOS versions that have a lower case letter in the version name (such as FDc). That lower case letter at the end means it's a beta version.

Trabaja muy bien hasta ahora, rev 1.3 ,reconoció el ryzen 5600 sin problema.Lo unico que podria mejorar es uno o dos puertos USB mas.

Es una placa base buena, me a sorprendido lo facil de el cambio y la respuesta que da. Parece otro ordenador, colores mas vivos y mas intensos. Para mi es lo que buscaba, y con los componentes que tenia, se nota mucho el cambio. Yo la recomiendo.
