It was very easy to do! Just look up videos on YouTube. Just when you take it out of the microwave LEAVE IT CLOSED TO COOL!!!! If you leave it open when itโs super hot it WILL CRACK!

The kiln is only good for small pieces but it is effective. I've never used a microwave kiln before so I'm not sure how they are supposed to perform but this one does take about 10 minutes to heat the glass properly in a 1000 watt microwave.

sadly this did not meet my expectations. I used it only once and a few cracks already in the lid. I wanted so badly for this to work, to make glass jewelry. I'm not happy with this product. I guess I need to buy a more expensive one for what I need.

I purchased this a Ilmost a year ago tried it It never worked No red flame coming out of the whole Not melting There is no coating on the top part I tried to use it a few times with no success The reason it took me all this time is I was very sick

Never ever would I think you can get temps this hot from a microwave mind blown! I was able to bisque fire low fire clay no problem! This thing is awesome! Worth every penny. Started with a small mircrowave kiln and now upgraded to this large size. I can now heat multiple pieces of low fire clay at the same time. I've been using this kiln for a few weeks and absolutely love this thing. So far this is what I've learned. If firing ceramics don't use full power of the microwave if it's 1,000 watts. Instead use longer heat times at reduced power so it doesn't heat up too fast and crack! I do 20%,30% and 40% power for 10 minutes each comes out perfect every time! I will be purchasing another to do larger items placing one upside down and the other right side up on top to double capacity because the height is limited while the diameter is 4.5"
