Tiny LEGO Wonders: Build 40 Surprisingly Realistic Mini-Models! Hardcover – July 1, 2016

Very, VERY cool book with a lot of really interesting and incredible looking lego vehicles. Be aware that these are small compact vehicles with some of them using very specific lego parts. I love this book and so does my son but the only frustrating thing is my son want to build these and the vehicles are not made from common pieces. If you want to build all the cars in multiples of these vehicles you will be spending a lot of extra money ordering these pieces from specific websites so be aware and hopefully you won't disappoint your kids when you tell them that you can't build these, you can just look at them! ;(

We got this as a gift for our son not knowing what to expect and he has loved this book! We have most of the pieces from other sets he's built and taken apart so it was easy to experiment with the projects included!

Pretty good book. Just be aware that all.of these designs require fairly uncommon pieces. I have thousands and thousands of legos and I was only able to build 4 cars...and it required modifications on the fly.

This is a great micro Lego build book, with some fantastic ideas for micro vehicles. I have a few qualms (people have already mentioned a few in the reviews before this one), but not with the models, instead with the piece/build information that was added (apparently after the fact).i.e. on pp 136 (which you have to find page 135 and then go forward one, because ALL of the Bill of Material pages do not have page numbers, the rest of them do) you have a great list of pieces, but do not get the LEGO design IDs or BOIDs, so when you get to a strange piece o7 good luck trying to find it.Also, another minus for use of custom stickers, and CGI to show lights (although possible to do with LEDs on the bus for example, you'll have a hard time jamming everything in the limited space), give a bit of a false advertising, as you're not going to get that when you build the pieces.The models are great, the reliance on weird, uncommon pieces, lack of piece information (how about adding a few pieces to the book so you can actually make one of them?), CGI and custom stickers, make a great book, more of an 'this is just for ideas, you should probably want til it goes on sale' book.

I haven’t built anything but all of my friends kids, and some parents, really enjoyed looking at the book.

Wow, there is a ton of stuff in here and directions are not too complicated for my son and I. Great for all those creations you made and took apart and now have a zillion legos hanging around.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice book fun to look at, but I would not recommend it because you have to buy each and every single piece, you can’t use your every day Legos that you have at the house for this every single piece you try to make needs a special piece

Careful! Very addictive. In similar fashion to "The never ending story" this is much more than a book. You start looking at pretty pictures of LEGO and end up buying pieces from multiple shops around the world to make them a reality.

It's a lot of fun to make these little models (or so my son tells me :) ). Not too difficult - just a medium challenge.

La guida è ben strutturata e vi sono molti veicoli da costruire.L'unica segnalazione è che non è facile reperire tutti i pezzi previsti per i vari articoli.Regalo per i miei figli di 6 e 9 anni che hanno già iniziato a costruire qualcosa...Come sempre consegna avvenuta nei tempi previsti.In definitiva un bel regalo per un appassionato di LEGO.

Great book for all Lego fans there's a lot of models to choose (40 in all) from, they list all the parts you'll need to build whichever model you want to it's nearly like looking at a Lego instruction manual the photo's are clear and the drawings of the bricks are clear as well.They don't give the Lego part no. but it's easy enough to find whichever part you need, They give you the degree of difficulty ie easy medium or hard

Ein tolles Buch für LEGOfans das zeigt wie man mit wenig Teilen sehr detaillierte Modelle bauen kann. Leider werden im Buch teilweise sehr seltene Teile verwendet. Beim TGV z.B. Teile die nichtmal bei Bricklink gelistet sind. Da wird die Teilebeschaffung schwierig bis unmöglich. Schön fand ich auch das bei einigen Modellen Varianten abgebildet werden. Schön sind auch die Szenarien, aber da hätte ich mir mehr Detailfotos gewünscht.

2016年7月下旬発売品です。発売日の3か月前に予約して、今月やっと納品されました。(いつも思うのですが、洋書は予約しても発売日通りに来たためしがなく、予約した意味が全くありません。でも予約しないと納品はもっと遅れるし・・発行部数確認のための予約なのでしょうか?)本のサイズはほぼA4、ハードブックタイプでオールカラーです。レゴブロックを使用したミニモデルの乗り物作品に特化した組付け説明本です。なおレゴブロックは付属しておりませんのでご注意ください。 洋書ですが、組付けは絵図で説明されていますので、英語が分からなくとも大丈夫です。そのモデルを作るにあたり必要な部品とその数も書かれています。 著者はMATTIA ZAMBONI氏になっていますが、収録作品は複数のビルダーによるものです。(日本人ではzizyさんが参加) 全部で40作品の組付け説明がありますが、下記ジャンル別に収録されています。・電車・飛行機/ヘリコプター・消防/警察車両・建機車両・一般乗用車など・フォーミュラカー/レースカー・タンカー/船・帆船・軍用飛行機類・スペースシャトルとクローラー(移動台)・月面軍　(THE MOON ARMYとありますが未来の軍用的車両)ミニモデル品ばかりですが造形はレゴ正規品より細かくなっており、このサイズが好きな人には良いでしょう。ただし、それぞれの作品においてスケールは違いますし、フィギュアが乗れるようになってはいません。以前レゴ社で発売された、TINY-TURBO シリーズの延長・展開作品といったところです。誰にでも出来る作品たち、と言いたいところですけど、部品は多種多色にわたり必要です・・・。特に電車や船などはそれなりに部品数が必要です。ただレアな部品はそれほど使われておらず、比較的手に入りやすい部品で構成されていると思います。例え全ての部品がキチンと揃えられなかったとしても、代用部品を自分で考えて進めましょう。レゴブロックの造形に正解はありませんし、それこそが本来のレゴブロックの楽しみ方ですから。この本は、その楽しみ方のいわば参考書と考えます。
