Q: I have a very old crown stove that has asbestos gaskets between the top and bottom parts of each burner that have shrunken badly,Would this fill gaps?

Keep the Asbestos between the RTV and steel and you will probably be fine. I just used this(product) with some New Fiberglass woodstove rope on my Kitchen Oven, for a Door Gasket. It held Better than the glue they give you with the Fireplace Gasket.

Q: Do you get two tubes?

They sent me 1 3oz tube instead of the 2 pack with a total of 6.4 oz like description states. Contact customer service like i did to get it taken care of.

Q: Will this work to make a seal with an oil pan?

No, this product is intended for high temperature uses "Exhaust manifolds, Headers".
