Too short
So good to read how people with a zest for life spend their free time. Could have done with a few more tales.

I found it compulsive reading and cannot wait for the next book by Anna McNuff.
Bedtime Adventure Stories for Grown Ups Hardcover ā 13 May 2021by Anna McNuffLooking for a good set of adventures to read and enjoy, then I suggest buying this latest book of 178 pages by serial adventurer Anna McNuff, should satisfy your needs. This book available on Kindle and print formats, but not yet on audible contains eight remarkably interesting, yet different short stories, based in locations around the world. Annaās book includes such stories as kayaking down a gorge in New Zealand. Running night-time marathons through the Californian desert and even rollerblading 100 miles around Amsterdam. As reader, I would recommend to anyone. I found it compulsive reading and cannot wait for the next book by Anna McNuff.

Even more inspiring than her other books
I read a lot of travel adventure books and Annaās books are among the best. I love (and am slightly envious of) her long distant travel books so I wasnāt sure what to expect from this book of short stories and mini adventures but I neednāt have worried. Thereās everything weāve come to expect from Annaās other books (fun, adventure, honesty and a touch of madness) but if anything, I found this one even more inspiring than reading about her more epic adventures. Donāt get me wrong, Iāve absolutely loved reading about her travels in New Zealand, USA and South America but as a middle aged Mum of 2 with a husband, a job, a mortgage and 3 Guinea pigs these types of adventures are something I can only dream about (at the moment at least). However, taking a weekend off to stomp up a mountain and sleep under the stars for a night or taking a couple of days out to go on a mini-adventure with a friend is something I could actually do. Thanks for the inspiration Anna.

Transports you away on a myriad of adventures
Each one of these wonderful short stories will take your imagination away from your cosy bed and floats you away to all corners of the world.Anna can find adventure wherever she is, even London! The blunders and crazy ideas had me guffawing away, much to the discontent of my snoozing husband lying next to me.The book is inspiring, I always have dreams of adventures but always worry about what might go wrong. Well, I learn that lots could go wrong, but there's always a way to get over them!Another amazing adventure book from Anna to help you escape the doldrums of daily life.

Itās all about the journey ā¦
I think I liked the rollerblading tale most of all for its utter madness. With all her stories itās about the journey and not the destination and Anna writes them well. Enjoy!

Fabulous stories of great adventures
I enjoyed every moment of this book and loved Annaās humour and story telling. It really has reignited my appetite to seek adventures and try new things (sadly Iām recovering from surgery at the moment so reading books of adventures is all I can do) but it certainly doesnāt mean I canāt plan some exciting trips for the future, one of them being the South Down Way as I live in Hove. The only sad thing is I wish I had discovered Anna earlier so I could have cheered her on or even better joined in some of the fun. Would have loved to have listened in her bedtime stories through lockdown 2020. But Iām a fan now so Iāll be watching and waiting for her next adventure! š¤©š¤©

I really enjoyed this little book
I really enjoyed this little book. I'd never heard of Anna McNuff when I bought it, but I just loved the way she writes. She's a gifted storyteller. I've since purchased her 3-pack of adventure books and am plowing through The Pants of Perspective about her 3000km run through New Zealand. Anna seems to have a gift for inspiring while still keeping to the reality of how hard some of her adventures have been. You can tell she is just a special, special person. I'm happy to have discovered her.

An amazing adventure without leaving your house
The story takes you on a trip that has been not only brought to life by Anna but also has doses of humor and the element of human companionship nestled within it. While reading I was not only transported to the various countries where Anna has explored but I also feel like dropping it all to go on these whirlwind running / cycling / walking (but definitely not rollerblading and that too not in Amsterdam!!!) adventures of my own.

Bedtime adventures that won't put you to sleep. šā¤ļø
I got an Arc of this book a few weeks ago. I had just finished all of her other books for grown ups and was just delighted to be able to follow her on some new adventures. And I wasn't disappointed. It is so much fun reading about her travelling experiences all around the world. I just couldn't stop reading and most of the time it wasn't just one bedtime story for me. It was fun reading about Anna and her friend trying to ride their Rollerblades 100 miles around Amsterdam. Equally interesting it was to find out where she ended up, starting behind her back gate and letting her random Facebook friends decide where the journey would lead her, first on foot and after a few days changing to biking.Thank you so much, Anna, for the pleasure of taking me along and encouraging me to be a little more adventurous myself. I now bought a printed copy to give it to my youngest daughter, to inspire her as well. You won't regret reading this. Have funšš.
