so sad it didn’t work.
I’m SO disappointed this diaper backpack didn’t work out. It’s really cute but not comfortable at all. If you are even relatively short, the backpack straps don’t adjust short enough. It’s so strange I’ve never seen a backpack with straps that don’t adjust short enough for my average 5’5” frame. You can see in the pictures of this bag the way you adjust the straps. There isn’t enough holes there. On the shortest setting the bag is hanging right above my bum. I don’t like to wear my backpacks very high either, so for me to say it hangs too low, it hangs low. For someone who is tall this my not be an issue. The bag is very cute but overall it isn’t comfortable to wear and the strap adjustment is awful. When you adjust to a different hole, the previous hole is all stretched out and looks cheap. The bag overall is very overpriced for the quality it is. When you are wearing the bag the bottom of it sags really bad as well. It doesn’t sit comfortably on your back. I really thought this would be super cute and functional. Even if I was taller and the straps fit me, I wouldn’t keep it because it’s overpirced. For the amount of money you shouldn’t get a cheap feeling product.

Horrible zippers. Strong smell . Overpriced
I was excited to get this bag because people seem to love it . My first impression was that the packaging is cute and I appreciate a dust bag however the smell is off putting. The bag is much bigger than expected and doesn’t hold its shape at all. The zippers on the outside and inside are not working ( see pic) The biggest design flaw is the location of the stroller D-rings. When you attach the bag with the stroller attachment and try to open it the whole bag/ weight hangs of that lid part making it even harder to close it back up with the horribly cheap zippers . Not very practical for any mom using this as a diaper bag. The lining Made from a cheap and hard satin ... it does look nice , but feels scratchy. I do like that it’s a light color making it easier to find things versus a dark interior purse. I don’t mind paying for a nice purse. I understand that this is not a designer purse but the quality doesn’t justify the 160$ price tag . I think you can get a much nicer quality item for that amount ( Kate spade/ coach etc have nicer real leather goods in that range) ... oh and the changing pad is a joke btw. I would never put my baby on it . Rough and tiny.

Thoroughly Unimpressed
I purchased this diaper bag after seeing it being loved by so many mommy blogs/vlogs. I have been using a JuJuBe BFF bag as a crossbody for 10 months. However, since the backpack straps are too short for me on the BFF, I ordered this one to fill the backpack void in my life. The JuJuBe is FAR superior to this bag even though it is not perfect in itself. The cons of this bag:-cheap material (just mediocre quality; lining is thin and cheap feeling)-the main zipper requires two hands to open and close. Do you always have two free hands when taking care of a kid? No, you don’t. You’ve got 2 fingers available and a lot of willpower. The zipper is also flimsy and sticks easily.-the changing pad is oddly sized and THIN. it’s narrow and an inch or so longer than the usual changing pads I’ve used. The changing pad is so thin, you’ll have flashbacks to the chucks at the hospital postpartum style.-backpack straps are thin, not cushioned, and just over all uncomfortable. They dug into my underarms and no amount of boob juggling made a difference.-total lack of interior organization. There’s the one exterior “mommy pocket” on the front, but it has no slip pockets or inner zip pocket within that pocket. This leads to fumbling for wallet, keys, chapstick, last shred of sanity, etc... The main interior has the 4 bottle pockets and one zip pocket which are nice, but not enough. Maybe I’m spoiled from the 9 or so inner pockets of the BFF, but it was just too cavernous for me, even with things sorted into their separate pouches. There’s 2 exterior bottle pockets that are kind of insulated, but rendered useless if the bag is too full. The Pros:-it’s cute! The colors, the pop of stitching on that front pocket, and the overall look of it really sucked me in.-comes with shoulder strap and stroller straps.-the dust bag is a nice touch. Doesn’t match the quality that’s trying to pass as luxury, but still nice.So overall, if you’re going to drop this much money on a diaper bag, I would 100 times over recommend the JuJuBe BFF. This Monaco bag is subpar and over hyped. I would recommend this bag if you enjoy saying “hold on!” 126 times as you scramble for the one teething toy at the bottom or if you always have both hands free to navigate a zipper.

Best Diaper Bag I have ever owned!
I work in the baby goods industry and received about four bags all from different brands. Out of all of them, the Monaco Diaper Bag by Luli Bebe has been my favorite and most frequently used! Ever since I got this bag the others have just sat around collecting dust. It is super fashionable, easy to carry and has flexible wear options with a stroller strap, backpack carry option, and adjustable straps. It is also very durable, excellent quality, tons of room, and easy to wipe clean! This purchase was my second Monaco Diaper Bag because I loved my first so much (that one was in black), and I wanted to have it in another beautiful color. Now I trade off between the two! So worth the money! The Luli Bebe Brand has never let me down.
