He puts the little crumbs all along the way, and as we go on, we discover the astonishing connections among their lives, and with the tragedy with which the story begins.The narration is quite unique that uses audio tapes recorded by a dead person, and the reflections of the person listening to them. Asher uses a pretty simple but evoking language that appeals and touches young hearts. Although there are many characters, the fact that each of them reflect a distinct personality by their actions, the plot never gets muddled up. The shift in the narrative between Clay and Hannah gives us an enriching insight in both of their minds.It raises questions on casual, unrestrained lewd and rude behaviour of some, which can have disastrous effects on tender hearts. It also advocates the fact that we should act with courage and try to avoid which can be avoided rather than regret later on and suffer the guilt.All in all, the story is one of the best young adult works of all time, and has rightly achieved an iconic status.

ich habe mir dieses Buch gekauft, nachdem ich die Serie auf Netflix gesehen habe.Das Buch handelt von Clay, der eine Box mit Tapes von Hannah Baker erhalten hat. Hannah hat Selbstmord begangen und Clay hört in diesen Tapes die Gründe, warum sie sich entschlossen hat diesen Schritt zu gehen.Die Serie und das Buch weisen einige Unterschiede auf, so sind beide Medien wirklich einzigartig und spanned auf ihre eigene Art und Weise.Obwohl ich vorab die Serie gesehen habe (die wahnsinnig spanned ist), habe ich das Buch regelrecht verschlungen.Das Buch zeigt, wie wichtig es ist die Menschen um uns herum zu sehen. Wirklich zu sehen. Es zeigt was Mobbing mit jemanden machen kann und das man nicht wegsehen sollte, sondern aktiv etwas tun sollte. Jeder kann einen Unterschied für jemanden machen. Manchmal braucht man nur eine helfende Hand, die einen aus einer destruktiven Spirale der Selbstzerstörung zieht.

Spedizione puntuale e nessun danno riportato sul libro. Anch'io ho aspettato di leggerlo prima di scrivere una recensione, ecco perché può risultare usato! Lettura piuttosto semplice per chi ha una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese. Scorrevole, diretto e coinvolgente. Per chi non lo sapesse, affronta uno dei problemi più comuni e più difficile da debellare: il bullismo e le sue conseguenze (in questo caso, il suicidio della ragazza in questione). Una lettura forte (così come il telefilm prodotto da Netflix) ma reale, la consiglierei per sensibilizzare di più sia giovani che adulti.
