Shampoo was nice but no better than I can get at the store for a whole lot less. Didn't see to help with my fine hair, even after weeks using it.

Works great but tangles hair. Mix with a small about of detangler, helps.

Love this product!
My young daughter and I have course, wavy hair that has a tendency to be dry. On a recommendation from a friend, I purchased this product (shampoo and conditioner) and it did a really nice job of giving us both manageable hair.

Love this product
Love this product! My dry damaged hair feels like silk again - and the bottle is bottomless, because you use so little each time. Highly recommend Akimi products!!!

I really wanted to like it, but...
This conditioner, like it's matching shampoo, is made with lovely natural ingredients, but for those of us who are used to "regular" conventional conditioner, it might take some getting used to.It smells great, but was hard to rinse out. I was also disappointed that the marketing materials promised "glossy" hair from using this, eh, not so much for me - possibly because of residue?? My hair was soft, but not moisturized and not at all extra shiny.I do think this, coupled with the matching shampoo, might be an interesting choice for someone who is wondering if those "cleansing conditioners" (like WEN) would work for them - this strikes me as in-between regular conditioner and those types of cleansers.

It's just ok for me...
I thought this conditioner (in combination with the shampoo) worked fine. Nothing to write home about. No lather (probably due to the ingredients) meaning I had to use lots more to get my hair clean and conditioned. It is super thick and hard to get out of the container. I like the fact that it is free of nasty chemicals and made from real stuff, but waaaay to expensive and did nothing special for my hair.

A great natural conditioner esp for swimmers - let it soak in for at least 5 min.
The woman who invented this shampoo owns a salon in San Francisco so that is how I got turned on to it. She is from Vietnam where they use carob to do a nourishing ritual to hair that makes it super soft and shiny. I think she worked for 7 years to get the formula just right. I am half asian, with thick somewhat coarse, long hair and I swim too to add insult to injury. I am always looking for something that is nourishing and hydrating but also as natural as possible. I tried the shampoo and conditioner and I really love it. My only complaint is that I would prefer a bigger bottle, if that is a complaint. THe woman who invented this is a daily swimmer and her hair is amazing. For the conditioner, the one thing is that you do need to leave it in your hair for a good 5 min to let it sink in. I think most conditioners are that way, but because this is all natural, I think it is extra important.

Pros and Cons
I have been using this conditioner for a week in combination with the shampoo. Pros: My hair, which is dry and very fine, was visibly fuller and my hair feels soft and smooth. Normally after a week of using the same combo I have to change product because my hair gets buildup and goes limp or looks greasy. Not with Seed. There is no buildup and my hair looks so much better.Cons: I do not like the smell of the conditioner (the shampoo is a dream so I was really surprised). Maybe I got a bad bottle but it smells acidic or off somehow. I have to use a lot of conditioner to cover my hair and my hair still feels dry when I'm washing it (although not when it's dry so that's good.)I used ite conditioner and I haven't felt any buildup over this time. I would definitely recommend this.
