This thing is amazing. I got it because I wanted to dispense hot caramel into silicone molds, and it is fantastic for that purpose. It is very precise, and the flow stops immediately when you let off the handle - no slop or excess. I've only used it for caramel so far, but I'll probably give it a try with chocolate as well. The one change I made to it was the handle: the handle cuts into my hand when the funnel is full and heavy, plus I was concerned that it would get too hot from the caramel. I wrapped the handle in vet wrap to give it some padding, then covered the vet wrap in silicone tape to give it some insulation. Problem solved. The funnel comes apart so that you can clean every crevice. No worries about any stray caramel left behind. The stand makes it really easy to put the funnel down briefly between molds (or when my hand gets tired). Yes, I could have paid less for a similar funnel, but everything about this one screams well made and worth every penny.

Easy to use and love the different nozzles that come with it

I had a pancake funnel in the past and was quite happy with it. However, I tried to use it for caramel, but the silicone plug came off. That isn't a problem with this funnel. It is very sturdy and well-made. It doesn't leak. The only concern I have is with the stand which doesn't seem to be as sturdy as my pancake funnel. So, I kept that stand and with both together I have a great tool.

I am a product developer in the candy industry and have purchased many of these for companies that I have worked for. I used them the first time at the big candy company that makes the ‘red fish.’ I fell in love. I use these for hard candy, gummies, lollipops, chocolate, decorating cakes, cookies, ice pops even pancakes. Very easy to clean and you likely don’t have to take it apart. But, if you do, it’s very simple to dismantle and put back together!

This is a very durable and quality item. It has many uses such as pancake, muffin, batter dispenser! I use it for all types of batter. I would buy this again or I would recommend this dispenser!

I bought this to use for candy, mostly chocolate. Those of you that make candy know that NO water gets in chocolate or it seizes. Of course, I washed it before I used it and there are so many pieces and so many tiny spots to dry. I thought I had it dried well, but obviously didn't because it messed up my chocolate. I'll go back to using my $5 plastic one and returned this one.

Works well, seems to be of sufficient quality.

I have had this for over a year now, and it is sturdy and works very well. I have mostly used to add gummy mix to my molds.
