Purchased these to replace the old power supply for my under cabinet lighting. These worked perfectly and are silent. My old power supply had an awful buzzing noise I delt with for years.

I have several decorative yard inflatables for Halloween and Christmas.Most of them use the Gemmy 12 volt AC Adapter.Those adapters are not sealed, the clam-shells are put together and tapes so they don't fall apart.They are in no way waterproof or even water resistant. (Strange for an outdoor product.)Well, we had a really bad wind and rain storm, and water penetrated two of them.One blew, and one I was able to fix.Replacement Gemmy 1 amp adapters are 11-15 a piece.I picked up a 2 pack of 12 volt 2 amp adapters for 13 that come with the barrel to terminal adapter.I took a part the Gemmy adapter and de-soldered the DC connector and screwed it into the terminals of the SANSUN adapter.I then taped it all up and plugged into the barrel connector. I then taped, or shrink tube around that to seal it up.Works like a champMy original Gemmy adapter was only 1 amp, but I got these two amp ones so I can drive two inflatables, so I can cut the cost even more. Also, it gives it a little overhead as the Gemmy adapters get quite warm.I am docking it one star, because the barrel connector of the SANSUN AC adapter has a very sloppy and loose fit to the barrel to terminal adapter it came with. It comes off too easy!!!Not the end of the world for me, because I was taping and sealing it closed to weatherproof it.Latest Update: 2019-11-5I have never experienced a company try so hard to make things right. (Anker comes to mind as well.)When I had an issue, they reached out to me to make things right.This is very rare today.I am grateful they have reached out to me to replace them.Update 1:1 of the adapters failed after 2 weeks.I have contacted the company, let's see if they do something about it.Since I already threw away one of the boxes of the 2-pack, not sure if I can return to Amazon.Update 2:Seller was quick to respond and is sending a replacement!Update 3:The replacements 2A are dead too now.Some with very minimal use.The 5 AMP model died after a week, with only a 1-2 amp load.

I like this product. It appears to be well made and comes with an adapter for connecting directly to an LED strip or wires. Very nice. The power supply has been working great since I plugged it in a few weeks ago.I did have a problem with a botched delivery but Sansun customer service was very responsive. They gave me full credit for the undelivered order and offered me a 20% discount coupon that I used to place another order, which arrived promptly.

Fixed the problem with my surveillance cameras. I lost 99% of infra red night vision, and it turns out that this is a common problem with power supplies when multiple cameras are in use.A new power adapter fixed the problem, and night IR is working on all 4 cameras. A cheap fix if it works, it did for me.I bought 2 so now I have an extra ready to go if the power supply goes on the blink again.So if you are having problems with your surveillance cameras, try getting a new power adapter before buying new cameras.

These are a direct (spec) replacement for the Lorex 8 camera power supply at 1/5th Lorex's price! I initially bought a 2-pack because I needed one & would keep the other one for back up - and it's perfect for that! I later decided to put both into use, each running 4 cameras - thinking less stress on the power supply and if one should go, 4 cameras are still online. Works great, fast ship, great product, great company, highly recommended!

LED lights were needed for a remote water and gas utility reading solutions via WiFi/Internet control I was cobbling together. I am using a WiFi managed power outlet for the WebCam and LED light power supply units. When I want to read the meters I remotely turn on the WiFi power units, which turns on the WebCam and LED strip power supplies. Within 30 seconds I am able to take pictures with the WebCams of the meter readings. Once done I turn the WiFi power units off until the next time I want to see the meter readings. I ended up using 6 to 9 LEDs per strip I cut from the reel of the master LED strip. I used the LED strip self-adhesive backing to attach the LEDs to the base of the WebCam units. The illumination turned out to be excellent. I did not need to dim the LEDs, but was ready and able to do so if needed.

I was able to adapt it to my outdoors landscape lights.
