Actuators weren’t the problem for my drawer leak
Worked as expected. Received promptly and as described. Replacement is not for anyone who is not mechanically inclined or cannot work in very tight places. Replacing these actuators is not easy due to their location. FYI replacing these actuators ended up not being my leaky drawer problem after all. The leak I had was actually caused by the soap dispenser. If you experience a leak on your unit, check the soap dispenser controller under the cover. The leak came from water riser too high and coming out of the vent hole. The remedy was to allow the controller to “reset” the water level by drawing the water out. You will need to remove the front cover of the drawer to access this controller.

Wires and plugs apparently not available separately
I bought these to repair an older F&P Dishdrawer that originally came with actuators with attached, integral cables. The newer actuators here have what look to be proprietary plugs on them that attach to separate cables that plug into the control board; thus if one of these fails on a newer dishwasher you can re-use the cable that's already in there.I found it impossible to obtain these cables separately, and I wound up buying two more actuators that included the cables elsewhere.None of the appliance parts suppliers I contacted could find any catalog reference for the wires on their own.Fisher & Paykel do not list these cables on their website, and when I called them directly to inquire I wound up talking to someone with a New Zealand accent who told me that my dishwasher was 'very old' (it's about ten years old) and that F&P 'could not be expected to stock parts for obsolete machines'. In short, she went out of her way to make my life difficult, because of course F&P *do* stock these parts, and because the machines are well designed, the new, superior, cable-less actuators snap right in in place of the old ones.If the real problem is that they're unwilling to sell the cables without the actuators, that's silly but it's their prerogative. But what was represented to me was that these didn't exist at all and that I needed to buy a new dishwasher for lack of a seven-inch cable. Fisher & Paykel tout their environmental bona fides in most of their marketing material, so that's an interesting position to take.I'm still impressed with the machine, but not so impressed any more with the company. So: very well made, etc. etc. but if you are retrofitting these to a Dishdrawer that originally had the actuators with the integral wires, do not count on being able to buy the wires separately; buy a set of new actuators that include the wires.
