I love this cup. It looks good and it feels good (ceramic = nice clean taste, the weight is nice, the grip feels secure and squishy). Which just makes for a nice experience! It has helped me make a habit of avoiding buying drinks in disposable cups. I regularly get compliments from baristas on it, which is a nice ego boost for some reason, lol. And because it's so pretty, I'm extra extra careful with it - even though it doesn't actually seem fragile.It's true that it doesn't maintain the temperature of your drink very well, but personally that's not an issue for me. The lid is pretty secure. It doesn't splash or leak at all while I'm walking 2-3 blocks from the nearby coffeehouse or when it's in the car.It's also very easy to clean. I've had this for a year and there have never been any stains or build up of gunk anywhere. It doesn't take any extra effort to clean off even when liquid gets between the cup and the sleeve and sits for a while. I only wish it came in a bigger size!

So... this is the PERFECT travel mug for me. I use it even when I’m at home, I love it so much. I need ceramic, absolutely cannot deal with plastic or stainless. It is dishwasher safe and easy to clean, easy to drink from....But it is not for everyone:1. It is not leak-proof. Not an issue for me as I just use it in the car and it fits perfect in my cup holder. If you throw your travel mug in you bag or take it on the train or subway...it’s not for you.2. While the silicone sleeve does keep the beverage hotter longer, it is not fully insulated. I drink my coffee fairly quickly, and do not need it scalding hot. If you like super-hot coffee or sip all morning long....it is not for you.I absolutely recommend this travel mug..for the right person.

I love the fact it doesn’t have that weird taste but it’s disappointing cause it doesn’t stay warm long enough and the lid doesn’t stay on properly and it’s definitely not spill proof , but the design I do love

I love this mug. It's really beautifully made, and the color is gorgeous.It keeps my tea hot maybe 15 minutes longer than a regular mug. But if you're having it at home, you can pop it in the microwave to heat it if you haven't finished. I have a bad right hand, so the outside cover is great for me because it prevents slipping out of my hand.I've read people complaining of how the inside stains, but I found if you rinse it when you're finished drinking your tea, I haven't had any staining. I put a drop of dish soap in it with hot water and let it sit until I feel like washing the dishes.It is not leak proof. The lid helps keep it from splashing when you're walking, but it is not tip proof.

This mug is disappointing all around. I've tried it with both hot and cold, and each one was a failure. The ceramic and silicone, while nicely made, are great conductors. Coffee didn't stay hot very long, and cold water sweats profusely outside the silicone, leaving water everywhere. The lid often forms a bubble when you try to drink, acting as a barrier, so liquid doesn't come out unless you keep putting more pressure on, which then, of course, leads to spills. Item is being returned.

I got this about a month ago. I have always disliked plastic coffee mugs. Ditto for stainless steel. So when a friend told me about ceramic coffee mugs I had to order one. I chose the grey one. I really like the feel of ceramic and I like the slightly curled lip (my daughter gave me another but the lip is vertical and is less comfortable to drink from). On the negative side: the lid, which does open and close by sliding back and forth, is not a tight seal. So if you tilt the mug it will spill the coffee or water :( So it's not perfect, but I repeat - I love the ceramic mug, it's slightly curled lip, and the silicone grip. Thanks, Leapfrog- but work on a better lid that doesn't spill.

Broke after hand knocked over on table top ! Hand washed always. Quite surprised it broke this way ! Not even a year yet. Back to using my old Starbucks ceramic mug. (Updated Review). The rest is the initial review: Nice soft smooth non-sticky silicone sleeve, it’s a good overall ceramic mug for my overall daily use at home & in the car . Just know that the ceramic edge lip gets very hot when filled with hot liquid, silicone sleeve gets quite hot to hold, it’s not leakproof, doesn’t stay warm for longer than 30-40 minutes, tall narrow shape is a bit tippy, the ceramic is thick not double walled insulated, the coral color is a happy color imo, the lid can come apart to clean if needed, the slide open sip opening is fine, if this tips over the lip edge may chip break as the edge is ceramic all round, ceramic is heavier than a stainless insulated mug, the ceramic appears to be a solid material, light cream color for the coral color and not painted ceramic. The diameter may not fit in all car cup holders. Haven’t had to remove the silicone sleeve to clean that outside part yet after a month. The silicone sleeve has not stained yet.

Awesome mug. Thought the color was a little loud at first, but now I've grown used to it and like it. Nice that it fits in cup holders and holds 16 ounces of coffee. I love that I can feel the warmth of the coffee inside when it's fresh and also that it doesn't stay hot for too long - some better insulated mugs keep the liquids too hot and make it difficult to drink up in a timely fashion. The main reason I got this was because it's ceramic, which is so much better than drinking out of metal or plastic!

I was finding my coffee tasted different in stainless steel travel mugs so I wanted to give this a try. It really does make a difference. The mug arrived on time and has been a staple at work. It's easy to hold with a full silicone cover that comes off easily for cleaning. I like that I can put it in the microwave to warm up drinks (without cover). A handle would've nice however it has worked well so far without one. The height is perfect for using my electric frother. It is not leakproof but I wasn't expecting it to be. It is a tall ceramic mug with a lid.

I love this travel mug. It’s sturdy, sleeve keeps drink hot and hands cool. The mouth piece is a bit wide so drink slowly but other than that it’s a great travel mug. It also looks lovely.

Very happy with the item

I got the Coral color because it was on sale. My fault for not knowing what color "Coral" is supposed to be I guess. From the picture I imagine more of a red but in reality it's closer to a salmon pink. The cup itself is great. I like the textured grip and the comfort of the grip material. The lid is easy to clip on and take off.I use it for coffee at work, and yes it does not keep liquids warm for long, which is perfect for me. I want to drink my coffee ASAP out of the Keurig! I don't understand why anyone, even travelling, would want to wait hours before drinking their coffee anyways... just drink it while it's fresh!I'll just the be the guy at work who's "comfortable with my masculinity". The one with the pink coffee mug.

So I'm on a mission to find the best ceramic mug that can keep my coffee hot and looks and feels great. I thought I had found it with this one. Great size, good construction, and pretty colour, but it doesn't keep my coffee hot. After an hour my coffee was warm, almost cold! Ello is such a good brand, but this ceramic mug is more of a coffee cup then a to-go mug. My mission continues.
