IdemitsuFull Synthetic 5W-20 Engine Oil SP/GF-6-1QT

I purchased my 2009 Subaru Forrester a couple of years ago with just over 50,000 miles on it. My first Forrester was literally flattened by my neighbors hemlock tree during a storm. It was 4’ in diameter, 3 where it hit the car. We has a one foot section of tree that didn’t have a safe way to cut off the car.. I pried the door open with a bar, squeezed halfway in and turned the key. To my surprise it started up and I was able to drive the car out from the final piece of the tree and to a spot that the wrecker could get it easily. I was a Subaru person from then on. My current car has a small lift, A/T tires, heavy struts with King springs, a skid plate and an auxiliary transmission cooler. I put it together so that I can haul my drift boat all over and launch it in rough spots. I use it hauling all manner of things with my little 4 by 8 trailer more than I use it for my drift boat. I started using this oil when I purchased my current vehicle after reading info on the Subaru owners forum. After putting 60,000 miles put on it over the last three years I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t had a single engine issue yet and I know that I’m working it pretty hard hauling loads as often as I do. Gas mileage is what’s to be expected from a Forrester that is hard working.

Bought this for my Outlanders 2014 and 2017. No issues also no change in miles, but I feel better putting this kind of oil in a Mitsubishi. In my opinion this is probably as close to OEM as you're going to get.

I bought this oil just to try and see if there is any benefit in using it for my Acura RL. When on sale it is ~$30. I didn't see any improvements in engine noise, smoothness of acceleration or increase in MPGs. There is oil out there that can be as good as this one and at a cheaper price. I have tried Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Platinum, used Acura's full synthetic oil, Acura's Synthetic blend and SuperTech. So Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Acura's full synthetic oils performed well in my engine where I could hear a difference in smoothness and engine noise.

The oil is good, this review is to praise Autoplicity and how they thoughtfully and promptly refunded me even though the shipping provider “delivered” my item. I contacted Autoplicity right away and they refunded my money and only asked that if it showed up to let them know.Well, 4 days later it showed up. When I informed Autoplicity, they waived their right to charge me again even when they could have. So I appreciated that. It certainly wasn’t their fault at all.

Idemitsu makes Subarus branded oil so it's what I use.

Can say more than this is the perfect oil for Acura/Honda cars.

Simply the best for your hybrid or gas only Lexus/Toyota vehicle. Use with your Mahle filter and you will get rated MPG’s as on the window sticker. I have a 2013 Lexus ES300h and I am averaging 37mpg driving for Uber. Even at 80mph highway speeds. Ditch any oil that specifically is formulated for hybrid and buy this oil as frequently as you need oil changed (5000) miles recommended by an expert Toyota tech.

Quality engine oil, it increase fuel efficiency in my car, I feel when drive, it runs smoothly, I think this oil has real viscosity, also after driving 4500km I add only 250ml oil to my crosstrek, thanks Idemitsu oil company.
