Gorgeous shoes, feel very comfortable. Should be perfect for ballroom dancing.I went up a 1/2 size since I need a wide toe box.

I was buying these shoes for a wedding and when I saw suede sole I thought that meant the inside of the shoe was suede. Although the inside is nice and soft this denotation means the BOTTOM of the shoe is suede. I put it on and it was like a magnet to cat hair ad dust. I had to return because I need these shoes for a wedding that we will be outside for and suede soles will not cut it. Wanted to make sure others knew since apparently this is typical for ballroom shoes but those that are just looking for a normal pair of shoes in this style would be sadly disappointed.

Finding a fancy silver dress shoe that doesn't put your feet and legs in agony after 10" of wear time is tough. Finding one with a closed toe that doesn't require special stockings is even more difficult. Don't be put off by this model being called a salsa dancing shoe...this shoe fits the bill as a *very pretty* party shoe. Heel is low enough at 1-1/2" to be very stable. Sole has a glued strip so it won't slip whether you're on hard floors or carpet. Pay attention to the fit recommendations by ordering a size smaller (I'm normally 6-1/2 - 7 and the 6 is perfect.) Yes, the latching buckle is weird, but it's secure and easier to get in and out of than normal buckles. (You set the buckle independently in the strap, then slip it behind a hook catch on the side of the shoe.) Came in great shape even though it was only in a padded envelope. Also came with a cloth shoe bag I didn't expect. A Total Winner!

Shoes were beautiful but the soles were not for outsid wear, they wre suede (I guess i missed that in the description) and they were way too wide. I am returning them.

I think the strap buckle has some other reviewers confused. By design, it’s two separate pieces, with the hook sliding around the ankle strap and other buckle piece. May not be the most secure thing, but I will probably use a piece of medical tape to keep it closed. Good value, comfy, and true to size. Probably won’t last forever, but good enough for a few performances.

Perfect. Bought these for a Roaring 20’s theme party with my flapper dress. I needed a shoe with a little heel I could wear all night and be comfortable. These shoes are cute and comfortable!!I have fairly narrow feet so I had to poke a new hole in the strap which was pretty easy. Then the strap end was too long so I cut it a bit shorter - it’s all glued so no need for sewing. (I am super lazy so don’t let this “work” scare you). I actually love the clip - you don’t have to keep punching the strap in the hole. Just read and it’s easy to understand.Yes the bottoms don’t have normal shoe bottoms because this is officially a dancing shoe. I wore them once and took a picture of the bottoms. No big deal, they are dirty, who cares. It was even raining and I walked outside and all good.I’m a solid 8.5 and I ordered a 9 and it was perfect.

shoes look great but sizing was off. shoe was a little long and wide for a 7.5 and strap to fasten would goe 1&1/2 times around leg.
