Is the cap vented? If it gets really hot, does the tank swell?

I now always leave the cap lose as to vent air. Kept the container in a hot garage and one day noticed it drastically 'compressed'. Not bloated or swelled but as if vacuumed air out. I don't know the physics behind gasoline, but there was a large amount of negative pressure which doesn't seem ideal for gasoline. Once the cap was loosened the container returned to normal shape.

Yes. The back side of the can (not pictured) has a clear strip showing the level/content.

Does this can have two handles, one on the top and one on the back?

NO, it only has the top handle, the only downside to this gas "can". A second handle on the back would make it a perfect product

Is this gas can safe to put in the back of my motortrike?

No can is safe on the back of a bike
