This product works well I just want it to snap shut and stay super tight. It does close and stay closed. Wasn't too hard to install and did what I needed it to do.

I bought a shell that didn't come with the hinges. These got my GBA SP back to working condition. They give a satisfying click when they open, but not when they close. They don't hold the system closed tight, but it doesn't fly open when installed correctly, as other reviews may make it seem. The hinge caps don't fit on these, but it's not a big deal. Overall I am very satisfied with this product, especially for the price.

I purchased a replacement case for my GBA, but for some reason it didn't come with hinges. I snagged these and they do their job. They aren't as sturdy as I would have liked. The screen tends to fall back (out of where I would like it to sit), but it at least holds everything together and lets me play my games.

If you're getting a new shell, get these. Reusing the original ones is kinda a pain. Works just like the originals. (Removal) Using some small angle needle nose pliers to pinch the tabs as you push them out went a lot easier than trying to force them out with a screwdriver as YouTube suggested. Make sure to have the screen in the open position for removing/installing. There's little notches on the hinges that line up with tabs inside the housing

These things are not good, if you are looking to put together or fix a gameboy advance sp please look else where. There's a metal ring/ bump in the middle of the metal end cap where the plastic hinge cap should slide on to. This makes it impossible for the oem style hinge caps to fit. I tore up a cap figuring that out. There's zero indication in the description or anywhere else to let people know these are not oem hinges. You'll need aftermarket style hinge caps if you want to use these. You can see in my photos the extra metal piece on the end piece. I tried my best to capture it, but my camera can't focus any closer.I give these a 0/10. They are basically worthless unless you have the aftermarket style end caps that can fit over the metal ring, but the page photos don't show the product properly for whatever reason. I suspect the seller is not selling the exact item, but just selling whatever gba hinges he can get his hands on which is probably why the hinge I recieved is not like the one on the amazon photots.

These worked amazingly well! I was finally able to reassemble my gameboy before I cracked the screen. Sad times. But these hinges are fantastic. Don't forget to buy hinge caps though!

Decent replacement in a pinch... Fits well.This hinges are alot more mushy feeling than the original... So you don't get that satisfying snap when opening and closing the gameboy
