I feed squirrels in my yard for fun and photograph them as a hobby. I bought this to see if I could call them or get their attention for photo opps. I had mixed results. The male squirrels always freak out like Armageddon is upon them and start zipping around like mad. The female squirrels just sit there and keep eating while looking at me like, "Human, why are you doing that? We've had enough of your crap. Just put out some more peanuts and quit screwing around."Maybe it's just my city squirrels and squirrels in the woods would have different results? LOL!!!

Not the best squirrel call out there, only does the barking sounds nothing else.

Got it for a gift for my dad. It got here fast. And hey it works just like a squirrel call. It's perfect

Not happy at all with this call. Requires quite the pounding to get it to make a sound. I have other squirrel calls and purchased this one expecting it to be better or at least as good. When I am able to pund it hard enough to make a sound it does sound good but I have to pound 5 times before I get a bark and then keep pounding so it is almost impossible to get a natural calling sequence from it.Perhaps the I receid is a lemon or it was not tuned properly. I know Faulk's is a family operation and the call is USA made but I can't reccomend.
