Smoked Lens Chrome Reflector Full LED 3rd Brake Light Compatible With 2005-2009 Ford Mustang, Powered by 16 Super Bright Red LED Emitters

Purchased this to replace the original faded third light on my newly painted 05 GT. I thought the light was defective because it never turned off, it would stay on dimly lit. After watching a video on replacement, I realized I had the light plugged into the wrong outlet. Took less than 5min to remove and replace the old light once I realized the mistake I had made. Light looks good and works correctly.

This is the same exact light that other Mustang retailers are selling for almost twice as much! Easy to install and is super bright, very pleased with it!

Works great! Looks modern. Very bright! Fits perfectly! Easy installation. I installed it 2 days ago, and the only thing I have noticed is just after opening/closing the trunk, or applying the brake pedal, the light remains on very dimly lit for a few minutes after disengaging the brake pedal and/or closing the trunk. It’s not really a problem, just a difference in the led holding current after use. It does not drain the battery or anything. I have not tested for water seal yet, and since it has only been on the car for 2 days, can’t say how long it will hold up, but so far, so good.

Fits perfectly and works *mostly* as intended. Like other reviews note, the lights will stay dimly lit for a while after the car is turned off. This is a result of the harness being designed for incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs. The typical leftover current after turning off the car is not enough to power bulbs, but is enough to make the LEDs glow lightly. It isn't draining any more battery than the stock brake light.

It's a nice touch! It arrived on time and I didn't realize at first that the price was quoted in U.S. funds. So it was a tad more expensive with the final price coming in at $52.39 CDN. However, it beats the $75.00 price tag that the locals are asking for. This is the second replacement for my car with the original being purchased locally. I had it for two years before 4 of the LED's burned out. That seems to be a common hazard with LED lighting these days. Hopefully this one will last longer because my Pony is a keeper! Easy install instructions

I love the look of this product! But the light doesn’t not turn off at all. As soon as I plug the connector in the lights come on and won’t turn off ( not fully illuminating just very dim ) I would like some insight if anyone has had this problem or how I can resolve this.
