Love they are eco friendly but trying other brands. As they are a few months in my drawer they are increasingly difficult to open at the zip. I am cutting off the zip at this point to just use a clip or twist tie. Also they fall apart from the freezer…which makes sense as they are made from natural fibers and that doesn’t bother me as much.

Love biodegradable but the bags are unfortunately breathable so cheese for example starts to dry out. Kinda defeats the purpose but I still use for other items like organizing gear bags & temporary food storage. I may try double bagging for food.

It works. If you let them sit a while with liquid in them, they will leak because they start to decompose

These bags are great! I have them in every size. They hold up really well and seem to be leak proof, although I rarely store liquid in a bag anyway. I absolutely love that these bags have no chemicals that will leak into my food and will biodegrade over time. Naturally, I wish that it wasn't so expensive to make a "non-plastic" choice and just a heads up, the bags are not see through clear. I truly think these are a great option for any consumer wanting to shake things up and switch to safe food storage.

These bags have to be composted in a special facility. Are you all washing them and mailing them off to a facility somewhere out there to be composted? Because they are not naturally compostable, and there isn't even a hint where you might send your washed and dried bags to be composted. I really don't get it. I feel annoyed and a bit cheated that this information isn't provided in the description of the product so that you can see, before you buy, exactly what the deal is. I'm returning these. They are of no use to me.
