Easy slip on & off, it's true they do run big. I always go up a half size in boots, I could have got a 10 & been fine. The style, light weight & none slip/scuff bottom Great!Over all, the best work and most comfortable boot I've ever had. 2 Thumbs up!!

These are my second pair of this particular style of workboot. They are quite comfortable and break in pretty easily. Now, for some reason they run BIG. I wear a 13 in regular workout shoes and athletic shoes but I had to get an 11 and they fit just right. So just consider this when ordering. But they shipped quickly and the transaction was great.

I ordered these shoes for a Star Trek cosplay costume. The tag inside said they were the size I ordered but when I put them on, they were more like 2 or 3 sizes bigger than what the tag indicated, so be aware that these do run large and you may have to order a smaller size than what you normally would order. As for the quality, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with them. Keep in mind that these ARE boots, so your feet WILL sweat in them, but the quality didn't seem that bad really. I will also recommend the use of moleskin - as you're breaking them in - at the heel and ankles but ALSO your shins and calves where the top of the boot will rub up against them. I have no complaints about these boots. I actually plan to order another pair but in a smaller size next time.

I bought 13 wide. The boots I got felt like 14 narrow. I've had regular width boots that are wider than these boots. They somehow managed to give me a heel blister and bruise at the same time. I was already starting to limp about 4 hours into my 8 hour shift. If you have wide feet look elsewhere. If you have regular width feet you should probably buy wide. If you are a half size I'd probably buy down, i.e. If you wear 12.5, buy a 12 not a 13.

If you buy thorogood boots, make sure they are the ones made in USA. If not made in USA they are complete garbage.This pair lasted less than 3 months before falling apart

I’ve been a career firefighter for 20+ years, and these boots are perfect. Very comfortable. Before I purchased them I was a little uneasy about all the different reviews talking about the size running bigger. I ordered the same boot size I usually wear, and they fit perfect. They’re easy to slip on. I can stand up and just step into them like the old rubber turn out boots. They have a great non slip traction, and it’s non marring. I can wear them on the fire boat without worrying about leaving marks everywhere. I’ll definitely order these again.
