My girl got into some nasty burrs and matted her entire self - like Fort Knox. Her long blond hair turned from gorgeous curls to a solid mass with tons of sticky burs all in her. Then she got wet - and she locked up. Cutting her hair costs me 175 minimum because she is a big girl. She takes the groomer 3-4 hours, and she costs me a lot. The scheduling, the time, the money - it's all a lot. I was very nervous to try to cut her hair, especially because I would have to shave her down to the skin (the professional groomers also said so). So I am like, this dog acts like I am ending her life when I try to clip her nails, so grooming her myself is going to be a huge mistake. But I decided to try anyway. I got this trimmer after reading a ton of reviews. Many of the reviews said it doesn't work well on thick doggy hair or doodle hair, but many of the other reviews said it works great. But all the other clippers say the same thing. I decided to try this one due to the low price point - as a starter shaver. Well, I did an ok job. 3 little nicks cause in some spots I tried against the grain - and she is bald. Not only that but the sound didn't scare her, she didn't act like I was ending her life and she was so easy to redirect her little bits of anxiety with just a small treat here and there. I had to recharge a few times - the clippers were still working but they seemed to slow a few times. Charging them up gave her a break. So over the span of 3 hours she is balder than the day she was born. All the burs are gone - she has a fresh blank canvas to grow back in. PROS: Low noise, cuts her hair (thick wavy golden doodle, x-large breed), easy to use, nice attachments, ok battery life (probably way better with a smaller and less thick haired dog), sliced right through mats easily. Easy to clean. CONS: Wish it came with something better for the paws. The width of this blade is just a little much and I'm definitely afraid I will cut her and she will never trust the clipper again in my hands. NOTES: You need to oil this! every 1/2 hour you spend on really intensive clipping, stop, clean the hair off and put 2-3 drops of oil. Clipper/razor oil is really cheap - don't be afraid to use it! Charge it more often than it says. It works great - but the clippers start to sound sad, plug it in for a bit.

I got these for my Ms. Penny P, my small poodle-type dog with very curly hair, and they work wonderfully. The cut quality is excellent, and the clippers are high quality and durable. The size is comfortable for handling dogs of all sizes. I regularly use these clippers for grooming, and they make the process simple and stress-free. The cordless rechargeable battery lasts long enough for a full session, and they’re very quiet, keeping pets calm. Highly effective and I definitely recommend these for any dog! Used at home to groom my small poodle-type dog and medium-sized dogs. Regular use keeps pets looking neat and reduces trips to professional groomers.

Only used it once to groom my Yorkie Pooh, so far. We let his coat get a little long in between cuts. The blade cut with ease, the motor was quiet and he didn’t seem to mind. The battery lasted with plenty still available for another. Easy to use for a beginner this was my first time groomer our dog. Added bonus came with scissors, cleaning brush, comb, and oil. Reasonable price! I would recommend.

Great dog clippers! They did get a lot of hair stuck in the blade and between the clippers and guard. While grooming my large doodle/German shepherd mix, I had to take the guard off and use the little cleaning brush included in the kit to clean the hair out about 5 times. Not sure if that’s normal since this was my first time grooming her, but the clippers worked like a charm when they were clean! For the price, I think they were very durable and didn’t cut my dog’s skin once. The kit included everything I needed to give my dog a basic haircut. The clippers were very quiet and didn’t make my dog anxious at all. I’ll see how they hold up after multiple uses, but I have high hopes!

This helped us tremendously. Our dog was in need of much needed grooming so we took it upon ourselves to save money and groom our goldendoodle mini dog. He looks so much better and we saved a lot of money. The noise level was quiet and did not scare him. The accessories were great to have as we went from a 9mm to a 6mm to cut his hair. The clippers did a good job. No skin irritation afterwards. Great product!

This clipper is amazing. If there was a 6th star I would give it. It is quiet, it is light, and it does a wonderful job. In addition to the clipper being great , the scissors are the perfect size and very sharp. For all of you that are reading this, do not hesitate to get this item. I highly recommend it

This dog grooming kit was just what I needed to get my shih-poo back to his low cut look for the summer. This clipper is powerful, does a fantastic job of getting through thick, matted hair. Additionally, it holds up really well and has no issue whatsoever pulling through his hair, even when it's thick from going for several months. It has various speeds, but regardless of which you use, you're going to have no trouble trimming down your pet. These clippers are quiet, they don't snag, and even after tripping (I kept my at the highest setting without a guard), my pooch had no concerns with skin irritation, too close of a shave or pulls/snags. The clippers are simple to operate, rest in the hand/grip very comfortably, and just make the task of trimming your pets simple.

For at home clippers these are as good as it gets!!! My mini poodle has very bad anxiety and to avoid putting her through unneeded stress of going to a groomer I decided to start doing it myself. She was really fluffy before I used these, I gave her a bath brushed her out then went in with the clippers and they worked great! Love the cordless option! They are also pretty light weight which helps after over an hour of shaving. Highly recommend for any at home grooming!

Works amazing well. Very light weight. Came fully charged. No problem going through my shitzapoo’s 4 inch coat. Small enough to do a fantastic job on the feet and pads and the face, but tough enough to do the body. Price is more than reasonable for its quality. Scissors were sharp and did a good job with final touch ups.
