Dan'l Boone Country Ham, 8oz package, Buttermilk Biscuit Mix and Red Eye Gravy

I ordered two of these as gifts. One was for an elderly couple who lived in NC for many years and love NC country hams. They had it for dinner the night it arrived and enjoyed it so much. The second gift was for a family from NC and they too, loved it. If you've never had country salt-cured ham, it may taste too salty to you. We typically eat very thin slices of it tucked in biscuits. Its especially good with some fried or stewed apples on the side to balance the flavors.

This is a near-perfect gift for people who have everything. I have bought this repeatedly because of the reactions from people i bought it for. It is a fine breakfast in itself and can be the start of a truly memorable meal. Ham stands out as a regional high-quality product. Good luck.

I’ve never made red eye gravy from a bag of spices but I have to say it was awesome! Country ham was great and spoon biscuits a hit on Christmas

This stuff is great, messed up the first batch of bisects, oh well. But the rest was great even with out using the country ham.I will buy this stuff again!

Nice tiny biscuit sampler, ham ok, the red eye gravy mix had an odd bite / bitter taste.

Didn’t taste so good. The redeye gravy, biscuits were not so good.
