The bowl works great does not leak

I bought this because my car would knock over his regular bowl. So best solution to keep him from knocking it over or playing with it was to get this. It does travel very well, durable, long lasting, easy to use, and is creative.

This bowl is a LIFE SAVER!!Friends of mine have some of these and when I rescued my pup this summer I knew I had to find this!The bowl stays in my car for water on the road, including trips to visit family, dog parks, and road trip water. I live in a state that turns off water at parks in the winter due to freezing temps, so this is crazy handy to have when visiting dog parks as an easy source of water. I keep it in the car, filled, and have yet to have any leaks. Took a 3-state road trip with the pup and left this in the back seat (on a pet seat cover hammock) so the pup could have a drink as needed and there were no messes. It is also convenient for visiting family who don’t have pets to have this water container handy.It is a sturdy, hard plastic that hasn’t cracked despite freezing with water inside of it. The lid can be hard to twist off to clean at times, but in general this is a heck of an idea. It took a moment for my pup to figure out that there is indeed plenty of water in it (it looks like there is only a tiny bit) but now she has no problem using it. There is no cover to go over the lid so it can splash a bit when walking with it if it is filled too high, but other wise I strongly recommend!!

Holds a lot no problem with spills. One design flaw the water flows into the handle which makes it difficult to clean the slime out. Tho it’s best if you have a dishwasher. Great for travel

This thing works great! I was a little worried at first, just due to introducing something new to my dog, whether or not she would use it. I got this for when I take her for rides in my Jeep, but I wanted to get her accustomed to it. I filled it with water, I set it down, showed her the water, and she's been using it ever since. She likes it better than her 5 gal jug /water bowl.The design works well. It doesn't spill at all. You can pick it up by the handle and it won't spill either. Easy to fill and clean. Holds plenty of water, especially for smaller / medium dogs...mine is only 55 lbs and she's been using it for 2 days, and it looks to have another 3-4 days worth still in it. It won't replace her 5 gal bowl for the house, but it's nice to know it'll last plenty long enough out on the trail. Large dogs might (or might not) balk at it. The bowl itself is kind of small (about 3 3/4" at the top, 1 3/4" where most of the water is), and it keeps the water level in the bowl low (to avoid spills). Again I don't know if it's an issue for larger dogs or not. Just something to think about (it does look bigger in the pics). Other then that, I read a complaint about the bowl being hard to screw in? Not mine (but mine isn't the blue bowl in the pics, it's a light grey, which looks better IMHO). It's no harder than the lid on her food bowl hopper. Turn it backwards 'till the threads seat, then screw it forward. Easy enough.Overall I think it'll be great for the trails to keep her hydrated in the AZ heat. Heck, you can even put ice in it.

I bought this for a road trip and then forgot it. When we got home I was finally able to put it to the test and I was underwhelmed.I have really small hands and the rubber ring around the bowl made it really challenging to open/tighten properly. Once I got it on right, I had to tilt the container so that the bowl filled, even though I'd filled it to the line. Then it wouldn't refill, so I just started pouring water in for my dog.Then I realized that it sucked all his slobber back into the jug part so it was really only good for one or two drinks before he didn't want it anymore.It's OK in a pinch but I bought it so I wouldn't have to carry extra jugs of water on every outing.

Can be a pain to fill because of the angle, but it travels so well without spills and keeps my dog's drinking speed to a reasonable rate. Definitely worth purchasing! Does all it says it does. I had questioned, so if you're like me, this is your sign!!!

I was looking for a water bowl that doesn’t spill. My dogs go with me wherever. I go. Sometimes I leave them in the car. (I have the ability to leave the car running with ac and lock the car. Not that a Belgian Malinois protection isn’t locked enough) I had purchased a different jug off Amazon but it was a self refill so I got these.My whole car set up is geared around them for comfort. So this product works. It does slightly spill thought if you pick it up to fast (like how you normally would pick it up.) you just have to angle it until it all goes back in the chamber.The angle to fill it with water is awkward but it’s manageable. (Since I’m always on the go I want QUICK AND EASY).When we’re driving it get put up and away but when we’re not it lays on the back seat. I have yet to have it spill in the car.I recommend this and would buy it again.

Love it! Absolutely spill proof and doesn't soak the carpet in the van. If you want to fill the drinking part more full you gently step on the top and the bowl fills quickly. Not too heavy to carry on hikes and the handle is pretty comfortable. I put a small piece of rug pad under it to keep in from sliding in my van. Tough and durable, well worth the price in my opinion.

Poor design,

So this thing is awesome. I have a 14lbs Chihuahua X and I place this thing in the back seat with him... no spill and he can drink when he gets thirsty. When you get to where you're going, just slowly stand it up and big handle makes it easy to take to the new location. I LOVE this thing and so does my dog (even if he doesn't know it).

Fantastic for car journeys or overnight in the crate. Brilliant idea.
