pad 10102 is exact replacement recoil pad for the Remington 7615
excellent pad.I was looking for a replacement recoil pad for a Remington 7615 with the standard non-pistol-grip stock.my understanding is that limbsaver made the original recoil pads for the Remington factory for the 7615, and there appears to have been some type of defect in the pads 'materials' at that time in that they turned 'gooooey' - as did mine. The 7615 has not been made for several years so they are not listed in any fitment specs in any recoil pad catalogs.since the original recoil pads had been made by limbsaver (or so i read) i looked at their online fitment pdf, compared dimensions of pads, printed a page or two of ones i thought might be a match, matched up the end of the 7615 for size and screw hole alignment with multiple pad images (with the old pad removed), and then found this pad : # 10102it looked to be a perfect fit for the 7615 with the standard non-pistol-grip stockso, ordered it;installed it;and YES, the #10102 is a perfect fit.not just close, but perfect.writing this review to help anyone with a 7615 with the standard non-pistol-grip stock.SIDE NOTE: several reviewers for limbsaver pads, noted poor fit when they ordered a model based on the fitment descriptions for the limbsaver pads. To prevent such problems YOU SHOULD consider going to the limbsaver site and view their PDF that shows the pads and their sizes. print the relevant page with the pad you think would fit (and as explained for print sizing), cut it out of the page, remove the existing pad from your firearm, and then see if the cut out indeed fits for size and screw hole alignment. this is the only way to prevent any fitment issues.

Easy to install and reduces recoil noticeably
I bought this for an 870 Express 12 Gauge Magnum with wood stocks circa 1989. I use this primarily with hard kicking magnum turkey loads which can be punishing. The fit is perfect even though the chart does not show my model. I used the sizing chart provided on the Limbsaver web site to check the size and it was right on. No gaps or overhang/underhangInstalling this is easy. Best to add some dish soap to the screw holes to make inserting the screwdriver and removing the screws easier on the old one. If not, you will chew up the old hard rubber on the old pad. Same thing for installing the new pad. A little dish soap and everything slides together with little effort.I have used other Limbsaver products and it works to rreduce the felt recoil by absorbing the initial impulse. Other have noted that the rubber is tacky, and it can drag on fabrics when you pull it to your shoulder. Especialy cotton garments. Less so on synthetic or polished fiber shirts and jackets. This is an easy and efficient upgrade to any hard kicking long gun. I recommend it.

Pretty good fit but not 100%
I’m not going to return it, but the fit is slightly off in some areas, either too much material or too little. Some areas it’s flush. I see they have a 700 option on the limbsaver website, but this says it’ll fit too. I went with this one, it’s not worth returning but it’s not quite perfect.

Used on a Panzer Arms Turkish clone of the Ithaca 37
Excellent recoil pad. Makes a huge difference over the original. Put this recoil pad on a Panzer Arms PA37. It’s a Turkish clone of the Ithaca 37. The dimensions of the pad fit the Panzer stock perfectly. The screw holes are slightly high for the Panzer stock, but after using the dremel and a little customizing the fit is near perfect.

Fit my Weatherby
While it isn't listed as a "fit" for the 10601, I ordered one based upon the template. It fit my 12 ga Weatherby Orion Sporter O/U perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Appears to have considerably more cushion than the original which had hardened appreciably over the years.

Less pain
Limbsaver is by far the best at reducing recoil both on my 300 Win. Mag Winchester and my .30-06 Tikka T3 Lite. I now only buy limbsaver.

Took forever to install
If you're thinking like I did (remove old butt plate, screw in new), you're sadly mistaken. None of the existing screw holes lined up and the technique of slotting the butt plate holes is stupid.Worse was the instruction to use your original butt plate screws to install the Limbsaver. That's fine if 1) you never go back to the original plate, or 2) the existing holes actually mattered. Per instructions, I inserted one of the original screws in one of the mounting holes and realized it will NEVER come out again. I would have preferred to keep the original screws with the original plate, so I substituted another screw and archived the one remaining "sample" in a baggie with the original plate. So stupid!I tried slotting the Limbsaver as instructed, but never got a good fit. The Limbsaver is maybe 1/16" short of the Marlin 336 in every direction, so a slight misalignment is a visual nightmare. I ended up filling the original holes with matchsticks and wood glue, then marking 2 fresh holes and drilling pilots. (I can always do the same in reverse if I want the original back.)Screwing the Limbsaver on is stupid. It could have been designed with its own mounted receiver, then attach the Limbsaver to something — but no, you have to cram a screwdriver into a tiny hole (and be sure to add some lubricant to the screwdriver shaft or it won't turn), then blindly feel for the screwhead. I had to use extreme force in every direction to mount it tightly in as perfect a location as possible — again, centering the slightly too small Limbsaver on the slightly oversized rifle stock that it's supposed to fit.If I could give separate ratings to installation, it would be ZERO. If I wasn't a professional renaissance man, I would have returned it. DON'T use your existing screws. DON'T even attempt to use existing holes. In the end it looks fine and works well. I was really just after a longer LOP. The installation process is stupid, destructive, inefficient, and with only a little "design", could be easily made much better.

Great pad, don't expect an "exact" fit
The pad looks like it will definitely help reduce recoil, also seems sturdy to maintain accuracy. Have not had a chance to head to the range yet.Only con about the product, It is slightly wider in one area and shorter at the bottom for my Savage 110 wood stock. According to Limbsaver website, it should be a perfect fit. The difference is barely noticeable from far, but it still serves it's purpose. I tried many different templates, and none were "exact fit" even if limbsaver says it will fit. It s to be expected since it is not a grind to fit.

Makes shotgunning less tiring and painful.
Works great! Feels like I'm wearing a thick, soft gel shoulder pad when I'm not. I'm using it on a Beretta 1301 semi-auto and it's a world of difference. The length of pull is longer, but a bit of practice got me used to it. Exact fit and super-simple installation with a screwdriver, nothing to it. Price was good and it arrived fast. I'll check out this vendor again.

Amazing! What you read about the recoil reduction is TRUE!
I bought a real expensive shotgun with a granite recoil pad, piece of crap it came with. I put this recoil pad on and it feel like a dream. I used 3.5” slugs to test it and it feels like my .243 , WOW!!!!
