This rug is great quality. It is soft and the pattern is beautiful. Thicker material, But still needs a rug sticker underneath to hold it to the floor. I vacuum it daily and have seen zero shedding. Everyone who comes in ask me where I got it as it looks high-end and expensive. I will be purchasing another one for our office. I have gotten some dirt on it from the children and just use dawn, dish soap, and a warm rag and it came right up. Highly recommend.

I truly love this rug! It tied my sun room together so well. It's great quality, the texture brings a nice pop, and it is neutral for the space! The shedding isn’t bad compared to what others have said. Either way! I’m picky and love this rug.

I bought this 3’x5’ rug for my daughter’s dorm room, and it fits perfectly in her tiny bedroom, covering the main walking area. The raised textured pattern and thick tassels on the ends give it a beautiful, high-quality look. It feels great under bare feet and adds a cozy touch to the space. That said, I’m a bit concerned about keeping the off-white raised pattern clean. I plan to Scotchgard it and send her with a rug shampooer to help preserve its appearance. Since it arrives rolled, the ends may curl—just place something heavy on them for about 24 hours to flatten. It’s too thick for machine washing, but spot cleaning works well. Also, unless furniture anchors it, you’ll need a non-slip pad underneath to keep it in place.

If I could put 4.5 stars I would. The feel isn't bad. Was expecting it to be a little more "pillowy" with it being wool, but still like it. Also, it's not absolutely necessary but we did get a pad for it to sit on which improved the "pillowy" feeling. It does btw release a lot of fibers, so recommend going over it with a vacuum a few times when first setting it out (as others also recommend). Priced fair, beautiful, practical, and happy that it is the 100% wool. Has already made our space a little more cozy.

With concrete floors and a baby on the way, we were in need of a large area rug for our living room. Initially I was searching for super soft high pile rugs (around 1.5-2 inch piles) but most of the affordable options were polypropylene rugs (which may not be the safest option for a baby that spends a lot of time on the rug because of possible flame retardants that could off-gas). My research showed that natural fibers (like a wool rug) would be the best option to minimize chemical exposure. With more research, this rug (the 9x12 ivory) seemed to be the highest pile (0.5 inch) wool rug that I could find while still being affordable and attractive. To increase the amount of cushioning, I also purchased a 3/8 thick felt rug pad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LNHSMCT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 . With the rug and pad combined, it seems to feel cushioned and safe enough for a baby. After reading the reviews, it seemed that the rug would shed horribly, but that has not been our experience after having it for one month. It does shed, but in my opinion it is very minimal. I also researched for the best way to vacuum this type of rug and it seems that you should use a vacuum without a beater bar. So I've been vacuuming around 2 times per week with a Bissell Zing Lightweight Canister vacuum and all seems fine (there is a handful of fiber that ends up in the canister each time, but from the reviews I was expecting much worse). I am also on the rug quite a bit with black leggings (doing exercises and stretches) and while there are a few stray white fibers that stick, it is not bad at all. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and may order another smaller one for the bedroom.

Pretty rug! but be aware the ends of the rug are thicker because the fringes are sewn on after the rug is hand woven..so make sure if you have a door nearby it has room to clear and you measure first...
