The simple bite size approach and mostly helpful ways to categorise answers is all useful. However it is riddled with mistakes almost everywhere you look which makes it very hard to trust. I am constantly having to cross reference which becomes time consuming. It is a useful aid with other books, but I wouldn’t use alone unless a new edition with corrections was published. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known this before.

Fantastic book - I used it to revise for my viva and passed with excellent marks.In retrospect I should've also used it for my MCQ.Layout excellent, font size good, overall very easy to read.Contents were extremely comprehensive - together with its companion book it covers nearly everything you need to know for the viva, and provides a good base/structure for the MCQ.

I like the structure. This book would be a nice overview (after you read and understood the topics from more detailed textbooks), if it wasn’t full of mistakes. You really have to be vigilant when reading it, not to confuse yourself, over simple facts sometimes.

Not compatible with Kindle !! What a waste of money .... they should mention it on the product specification. What is the point of a kindle edition that is not compatible with kindle device ?

Nicely laid out book with real potential, shame about the frustratingly common occurrence of factual error and typos.
