I started in February learning to sketch. This is a book I have used to help learn and develop techniques from cover to cover. A must have.

As long as you have a decent eye this book works great. Heck even if you dont have a decent eye, practice makes perfect right.Anyways, this book teaches you the basics of portrait drawing. It gets into detail about proportions and details on each part of the face.It touches a little on things like glasses and hats. And walks you step by step through quite a few portraits in the end of the book.Get this! Its great!

Hopefully I will understand the technique sooner rather than later
