I bought this for my daughter who will be going out in the field (caves actually) for her research this September. She told me not to buy it but I got it for her anyway. Well . . . SHE LOVES IT!!! She checked out all the functions and it works just like it's supposed to. She was particularly impressed with its ability to focus and narrow the beam and she says it is REALLY BRIGHT!!! She loves that is relatively small and the case with wrist strap will make it easy for her to carry it with her into the caves she is researching. She can buy anything for herself that she needs, so it's rare when I can get a gift for her that she really loves. She was absolutely sure she wouldn't have a use for this, but now she's glad I got it for her. My smarty-pants daughter loves it, so . . . I'M THRILLED with this purchase!!! I can't wait to hear about all the the ways she uses this for field work. Now I want one for me. With the wrist case, 3 AAA batteries, and charger, this is an amazing deal!!!

It is a super bright light. Blink and SOS function works good. The battery seems to drain faster than would like. It comes with a rechargeable battery and portable charger. It also takes regular batteries, although I couldn't get reg batts to fit in unit. But I didn't try very hard.

The button assembly came apart the first time I tried to take the battery out to recharge it. The plastic frame within the back button was cheaply made. It didn't withstand a weeks worth of use. The light is great but the push button on and off switch is disappointing.

Flashlight works well with 3AAA batteries or the rechargeable one that comes with it. When you zoom it to the fullest, the light is a square box not round like others. I would give it 5 stars for the flashlight alone but the case it comes in, is with out a doubt the cheapest piece of plastic that I have ever seen.

Extremely bright. I just wish there were a mode switch to select mode instead of clicking on-off 4 times to get to strobe and 5 times to get to SOS. Minus 1 star for that.

Mercy sakes you will not believe the power of this flashlight. I can't believe how far this light shines. Very bright and very user friendly.

I bought this for my husband and Son in law for Christmas. The light is extremely bright. It is good quality. My son in law nevers says much about his gifts, but he said it was his favorite gift.

Only down fall no instructions and I'm left guessing on some things.
