Only had it for an hour and I got really nice waves. I have short hair and I am terrible using curlers or heaters and was looking for something easy and effective. This item blew my mind. I do t think I’d be able to sleep with it cause it is uncomfortable and it is a little difficult to get the hair around it if it’s short but it gave me nice waves in only 1 hour. I was thinking of returning it but I’ll keep it now.

I’m gonna look up a YouTube tutorial on how to use this perfectly because I’ve seen it work amazing for other people but their hair is a little longer. When I used it and went to work I actually got a ton of compliments. It definitely curls your hair and it doesn’t hurt to go in or to sleep with. I recommend going in with a actual curler after the fact and define some out but hey.. that’s to be expected, & it’s a much quicker alternative than curling your entire head. I think it’s just a matter of getting the user technique down first so I think this is a good product I think it’s just me that needs practice. All of the things that it comes with is also a huge bonus definitely got your moneys worth.

I’m sorry, but I think all the bad reviews are due to user-error and not because the product is defective or anything. I think most of them are from people who haven’t figured out how to make the product work for them and their hair type yet or are just doing it incorrectly. It took me nearly two months and dozens of screw ups to finally get my hair to look decent using this product. I just wasn’t using the right technique or hair products. You NEED to use a hair oil on 80% air dried hair before you put the curling rod on. Without the oil it’s just a frizzy undefined messy, it truly makes all the difference. Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you. If you’re willing to go through a bit of trial and error it’ll work fine and you’ll come out with beautiful curls. If your expecting this to work perfectly on your first (or even your 10th) try then I’d stick with your curling wand.

I like to use this on slightly damp hair and wake up the next day with beautiful curls! Getting a good wrapping technique can be tricky but watch a bunch of how to videos and you’ll get the hang of it!

The curls don’t even stay and the band is very uncomfortable so you can’t sleep with it
