I purchased this book elsewhere. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it brought back many memories of my times spent in The Gambia. It's an easy read and I finished the book in a couple of evenings. It gives a good insight into life in The Gambia and I have recommended it to a friend to read. Would love to see more books like this on The Gambia...

A superb account of a man’s travels from England back to the Motherland. An insightful look at life in Gambia for someone from the African Diaspora. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to holiday or thinking of emigrating there.

Loved this book,travelled to Gambia since 2008 but still very interesting, mentioned a few places I've stayed at and also people I've also met!!!! Good read x

I always get upset to hear European referring to Africa Like a nasty place to live.It’s beautiful and nostalgic to read your description of the places and people.
