Reliable and High-Quality Audio Adapter
The Anker USB C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter is a fantastic solution for connecting my traditional headphones to newer devices without headphone jacks. The nylon braided cable feels durable and tangle-free, which is a big plus for daily use. The adapter is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around without adding bulk. Audio quality is excellent, with clear, crisp sound and no noticeable loss or interference. The plug fits snugly into the USB-C port and holds firmly without wobbling. It works perfectly with various smartphones, tablets, and laptops, making it a versatile accessory. Overall, this adapter is well-made, reliable, and delivers great performance at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Excellent adapter for wired headphones - Great Build and Audio Quality
Flying from London to Asia, a long haul flight of around 10+ hours, I purchased the Anker USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter specifically to use with my Bose wired headphones, which donโt have Bluetooth functionality. My phone, Samsung Z Fold 3, does not have an audio jack, so I needed an adapter like this. This adapter has worked perfectly from day one. The build quality is impressive, the cable is thick, flexible, and feels durable. The connector fits snugly into both the USB-C port and the headphone jack, with no looseness or signal drop. Itโs also compact enough to carry around easily without tangling. In terms of performance, I did not have any issues with the audio quality, it is excellent. I did not experience any distortion, lag, or interruption, and the sound is clear and full-bodied. Iโve used it for music and Netflix, and it consistently delivers a stable connection and high-quality output. This adapter is ideal for anyone using modern devices without a headphone jack, especially if you still prefer or rely on high-quality wired headphones.

Does the job and feels high quality
I bought this as my phone doesnโt have a headphone jack. Works well and feels solid, durable and high quality. I especially like the nylon outer on the cable. I have a few Anker products and have been happy with the quality so was happy to give this a try. I would give 5 stars if it was slightly cheaper but overall I am happy with it.

Does What It Says
Works great, sounds great, seems like a durable thing. Perhaps a little pricey for such a wee thing, but Anker is good quality so I dont begrudge it.

Excellent sound quality - well worth the extra money
I previously had a cheaper USB to 3.5mm audio adapter, but the sound improvement from this Anker adapter is astounding. The sound is a little louder, but much more punchy. I didn't realise my previous one was so bad until I had the chance to compare it to this one. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in case anyone wants to know.

Quality Product
In my experience this jack is much preferred, more than the angled one it replaced. This one fits firmly into my phone and used along with a pair of wired earphones. Very easy to use. I will definitely purchase this if needed again. Good value for money too! You won't be disappointed if you order the Anker Jack.

Does not control volume on Apple
Works for input and output but does not allow volume control on older apple headphones to a modern Apple iPhone 17

Does everything it claims to and is of far better quality than I would have expected for the price.
I bought this adapter because my new Lenovo Tab 11 tablet does not have a headphone socket and I want to be able to use wired headphones. The Lenovo tablet has Dolby Atmos and the output to the headphones is after the Atmos effects are applied, which is very useful. The sound has a lot of clarity and without any effects applied is quite a flat response. This suits me for classical music and jazz, but you might want to use a graphic equaliser or Atmos (if you have either) to shape the sound a bit more to your taste. The first headphones I tried with it were old Sennheiser EH350's. These are y normal headphones for casual listening. The sound level in the headphones took about 60% of the device volume. This was greater than the earphone "safety setting" so I had to click agree to go beyond that. Obviously, it is not unsafe because this is the safety level set for in-ear earphones. The Anker adapter contains a digital to analogue converter and an amplifier which are hidden inside the USB-C plug so I wondered if it might be able to drive my Sennheiser HD600 headphones. I have never used these with a mobile device and with a CD player, they require a dedicated headphone amplifier. I didn't think it would work, but the volume at 70% was sufficient to drive them with a very lifelike sound. Listening to Spotify on maximum quality and comparing to the same recording on CD via a high end (Graham Slee) headphone amp, the phone plus Anker adapter is about 60% of the quality. Half of that difference will be down to the source material not being as good as CD. If you are listening to older material that was not digitally recorded the difference is far less noticeable. Clearly, this is a very tough test and you can't expect something that costs ยฃ15 to be as good as something that costs hundreds of pounds, but it does a decent job given the price difference. I have also tried the adapter on a Google Pixel 5 phone with the same results as the tablet. I can not vouch for the long term reliability of the adapter. Anything with a cable going into plugs is going to be prone to breakage of the wires after a while. In conclusion, this adapter does everything it claims to and is of far better quality than I would have expected for the price.

Solid performance, good sound. Recommended.
Speaking as a musician, producer, and live sound engineer, this is a handy dongle to have. After looking at some other reviews, I saw that there can be a difference in quality of the DAC (digital to analog converter) chip in some brands of adapter. The Anker adapter reportedly uses a better chip so I decided to try one out, since the difference between USD 8 and 16 didn't bother me for something I only intend to buy once. I own a number of Anker cables and power banks and have had only 5-star experiences with their equipment, so this felt like an easy bet to place. I bought this for use with a Samsung Galaxy S24+ but it should work fine on any phone with a USB-C connector. The fit on the phone is secure and snug. Since the plug sticks straight out, it's possible an impact or drop could damage the unit or the phone's USB jack, but with ordinary care this shouldn't be an issue. I tried the adapter with two different headsets: (1) KZ ZS10 Pro in-ear monitors with a 30-ohm impedance (therefore fairly loud at even low volumes show off a lot of detail), and (2) Audio-Technica ATH-M50x studio headphones at 38-ohms, and having to be driven a little harder. In both cases the fit on the 3.5mm earphone jack side was secure as expected. The audio results were excellent, with punchy, full lows and detailed highs. The signature character of each set of earphones came through clearly -- both the slightly hyped bottom end and relative flatness of the ATH-M50x, and the customary "smile" or V-curve of the Chinese-made KZ ZS10 Pro. I was able to pick out details I usually miss when in the car or on Bluetooth speakers, but would expect to catch only in my home studio on expensive monitors. In a *very* quiet environment, when I stop or pause audio, after about 1 to 1.5 seconds I can hear a small "tap" sound as the DAC powers off, but it's easy to miss and certainly not disturbing in any way. It makes sense that this happens, so that the adapter isn't drawing power from the phone while I'm not playing any audio. (I imagine a cheaper unit potentially might not do the right thing here, causing excessive power drain.) When I resume playing music, the audio returns quickly, with a very short ramp up from zero to my chosen loudness. There doesn't seem to be any significant heat generation from the DAC. This adapter can also be used, with the right cable, to send the output of your phone to an outboard sound mixer or other stereo inputs. You may have to adjust the volume in that case to send audio at the expected volume level for the receiving unit. I can easily recommend this adapter to others looking to use their favorite wired headphones with their phone that only has a USB-C jack.

Best Adapter Ever
This is the best 3.5mm to USB C adapter that I have ever purchased. The ones from other brands can't even compare. Build quality is good and sound quality is amazing.

Works great!
Works great! Seems to be good quality. I have tried several different brands and they have not worked with the microphone, but these do. A bit on the pricey side, and I could rant for hours on how itโs absolutely idiotic how most tech companies just decided one day that the headphone jack is obsolete, when it absolutely isnโt and is being used by enough people that a product like this is being sold. But thatโs another discussion. So, anyway. I recommend it!
