I installed one of these indoors for some friends as a general pet monitoring device. The unit is beautifully neat and sits happily on a worktop or shelf. Setup was pretty easy, after installing the app, and after some tests and trials we homed in on the settings we wanted. The AI detection of humans versus animals, seems to work as do the notifications based on motion or audio. It did a great job of detecting barking for instance. Video quality seems perfectly fine for its application and the pan and tilt etc do work remotely via the app. Several people can get notifications and live view with the app but only one of those will be the master with access to the full settings for any changes etc, you choose how you do this at install time. Can't speak for reliability but other reviews seem positive, I was very impressed for the price paid, also no subscriptions when using microSD card to record any events, there's a paid cloud service I believe.

The Tapo C210 is a great indoor security camera with clear 2K image quality and smooth pan and tilt movement. The setup is simple, the app is easy to use, and the night vision works well. A reliable camera for keeping an eye on your home, pets, or family.

Really good camera if you want to keep an eye on your pets, we brought this for our guinea pig for when we are out and we can keep an eye on him as his partner died recently. It picks up his every move and sends notifications to our mobile. The picture is clear and you can talk through the phone too. Its easy to set up . Also ideal to keep an eye on your home when out. Its not bulky and no noise when it moving and picking up my piggy. You can place in any room as it needs to be plugged in when in use and have a good WiFi signal.

Download app from store. Just make sure you get the official app from TP-Link (search for TP-Link rather than just Tapo). Easy to set up (watch a youtube video) first. Very easy to operate and the picture quality is very good. Motion detection notifications can be a pain but voice notification is easily turned off. All in all - I recommend.

This was a complete and pleasant surprise. I know that TAPO produces quality products, but this camera exceed all expectations - especially in price and functionality. It was easy to set up (took about 5 minutes), integrated well with my other TAPO products and is operated through the app. The camera is "steerable", which allows a scan of the area under surveillance. Images are crystal clear. I have set mine up to use an SD Memory card for recording and this works very well. The response time is excellent - once movement is detected and the app opened up, access to the camera view is instantaneous. I have a well known brand of cameras to cover other areas, but the response time is nothing like as rapid. I am now considering replacing then with TAPO cameras. And the price? Amazing value for money. The only downside, and this is a minor criticism, is the sound quality - there tends to be some background noise. But that does not detract from the overall utility of this product. I would recommend it. It is versatile and well made, can be mounted or just stood on a flat surface. I'm using this to observe my guinea pig hutch and it works really well. I like the connectivity to your phone and so I can check in with the piggies when I am away. It was very easy to set up too. I have the 2k version, the video quality is fine for the purpose I need it for (ensuring newly bonded piggies aren't fighting!), but if you want really clear video to share on socials or something like that, you might wish to upgrade to the 3K. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

These Tapo products are excellent. Really easy to set up. Simple to connect to your phone and your wifi network. Good easy to navigate app. Also very reasonably priced

Easy to set up, ( I have existing Tapo systems ) plenty of options. Bought as a replacement for a netatmo older device which had failed. Mains powered via normal 3 pin adapter / step down transformer. Picture is bright, clear even in low light. No subscription charges ( well Tapo do an optional cloud server payable, if you want it ) I would say it’s about the size of a soup tin, maybe a tiny bit bigger, but not unwieldy. Has a tilt and follow mode if required. My only criticism is the software doesn’t have facial recognition - something the netatmo did have, but the picture resolution is far better.

Die TP-Link Tapo C210 hat meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Die Einrichtung über die Tapo-App war in wenigen Minuten erledigt und die Kamera ließ sich sofort mit meinem WLAN verbinden. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und alle wichtigen Funktionen sind übersichtlich erreichbar. Die 3-MP-Auflösung liefert ein scharfes und detailreiches Bild – sowohl tagsüber als auch bei Nacht. Besonders die Schwenk- und Neigefunktion ist sehr praktisch, da sich nahezu der gesamte Raum bequem über die App überwachen lässt. Die Nachtsicht funktioniert zuverlässig und liefert auch bei völliger Dunkelheit noch ein klares Bild. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Möglichkeit, Aufnahmen lokal auf einer microSD-Karte zu speichern. So ist kein Cloud-Abonnement notwendig, wenn man seine Aufnahmen lieber direkt auf der Kamera sichern möchte. Auch die Zwei-Wege-Audiofunktion funktioniert einwandfrei und eignet sich beispielsweise, um mit Personen im Raum zu sprechen oder Haustiere zu beruhigen. Ich nutze die Kamera zur Live-Überwachung und die Bildübertragung läuft stabil und flüssig. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Insgesamt bietet die Tapo C210 viele Funktionen, eine sehr gute Bildqualität und eine einfache Bedienung zu einem fairen Preis. Wer eine zuverlässige WLAN-Überwachungskamera sucht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

this one is teaming up with another tapo model and works good, again easy to set up wifi only but in return has more noise detection modes.

Ho acquistato questa video camera su consiglio diretto di un'amica che la aveva già a casa sua. La telecamera è di semplice utilizzo, va collegata alla rete elettrica e tramite app dedicata connessa al wifi. Dall'app si può verificare la connessione, si possono aggiungere altre telecamere (cosa che farò al più presto), si può zoommare e ruotare l'inquadratura. La telecamera può essere appoggiata ovunque e persino essere fissata al muro sia in posizione orizzontale che capovolta. Unico, unicissimo neo, arriva con la presa inglese (come mostro in foto) ma problema sormontabile con un semplice adattatore che costa non più di 1 euro.
