Easy to assemble and works perfectly
The assembly was fun and easy. The description of the sounds is not exact, but sort of musical versions - like those multi-sound car horns of the '90s.

Not for absolute beginners
I ordered this along with a soldering iron so that I could practice before a project. There were zero instructions, so I tried to look at the Amazon listings photos and copy it.. but the components were not all the same or clearly visible. Finally, I completed it but without a way to test. It requires a power source that’s not included.

Not great for beginners or kids ( NO INSTRUCTIONS)
This product is not accurately portrayed. It sets you up for failure. There are no directions of any kind besides “look at the picture.” Also there are multiple different resistors of differing measurements which is going to be an important thing to note. I had to research online to figure out the color coded meanings to put them in the right spots but I’m sure not everyone would think to do that, especially a kid who was getting what was expected to be a beginner project. One of the pieces can’t even be clearly seen in the picture of the finished project and other pieces don’t even look the same in terms of base color. Some sort of directions should definitely have been included for this set. Did I practice the act of soldering? Technically yes I guess but did it result in a working project at the end? Absolutely not. And I know I am capable after completing the three beginner kits from “Learn to Solder Kits” Blink, Hue and Jitterbug. Those products are great, this one is a complete waste of time and money

Solder practice
For 5 bucks it was a good introduction to soldering and basic electronic components. Would have to reference the picture as guide (although they are missing the piece that has the 104 on it in the picture). Has anyone gotten theres to make noises??

Defective item
Can't get this to work. Had this item 2 times before from other sellers and had defective parts in them. Will not buy again. I give up. I have 65 years experience in electronics.
