Take this new reel to the lake for a trial, it is better than the Shimano I have: lighter, quieter, and smoother.

Dudes , these reels are LEGIT!! Spooled up 6lbs braid and 5 lbs leader. Cast1/16 oz. A mile! Ultra light extreme enjoyment!! I have 2 - 500 and 2-1000 both drags are super smooth and feathery! I find one on 6’ ultra light rod and the 1000 on a 6’6” rod! No wind knots on either reel! These have to of been designed for braid!! Awesome value and Awesome reels!!

I purchased this reel in May of 2022 and loved it. We have long winters so it’s cleaned and stored indoors. Today I loaded up and went the river and the reel wouldn’t crank. Since the warranty expired I tried to fix it my self and found the gear was broken in half. I’ve only caught small trout so I’m stumped on how this happened? I also have the larger reel and love it with no issues.
