It's big & heavy as hell in the box, but I somehow got it inside by myself. Bought the Queen version and found it very easy to assemble, plus I like the nifty hex key they provided. Strips of velcro hold the wood slats into place. I actually put a boxspring and a mattress on this, which really raised my bed up nice and high. The clearance you see in the picture is safely 11", although it's exactly 11 1/4". Anyway my bed doesn't move. No squeaking, no nothing. I haven't bought a Zinus mattress but I'm convinced they make a good product. Happy with my purchase.

Already squeaky after just a few weeks. I tried tightening all the bolts, still squeaks even when I just sit on the bed. I loved how easy it was to put together and it feels sturdy. Just noisy

I spent EONS trying to find a slat bed that had slats less than 3" apart in order to keep my mattress under warranty. This was one of the few options that had tighter slat spacing, (as well as under bed storage) that was under $800- $1000. We paid the extra to have someone from Amazon put it together (highly worth it). It was set up in 20 minutes and it looks sleek. Had intended to use it as an interim frame while we searched for the right "high end" platform bed, but I am fairly sure we will be just as happy with this as any higher end frame.

I've had a lot of bad luck with three different IKEA bed frames. The last one was a MALM bed frame that definitely was over the $200 dollar mark for a Queen size bed. The day after we put it together, it looked so crooked and wrong. We ended up super gluing the bed together but it still was terribly unstable. 6 months later, I went on Amazon to give a bed frame a try. While people complain about the squeaky noise of this, we have not had issues yet. It's only been a week, but we have had the best sleep on this sturdy frame. We love the minimalist look and while there is no headboard, the bad memories of our IKEA beds is no longer in our lives. I will change this review if it starts to squeak to the point of wanting a new frame or if it breaks, but I think we found the right frame and the right price. It arrived in two days. It was super heavy but two people can easily move this around. Building it was about an hour. We love the tool it came with, the clear instructions, and the fact that they have spare screws that are also separated in the packaging. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The bed frame looks nice and was easy to assemble, I did it by myself in less than 30 minutes (with interruptions from young children). Note the frame measurements--the frame height is about 6 inches, and on the long sides the clearance between the floor and the bottom edge of the top part of the frame is 3.5 inches. So, if you are looking for a frame where you can also have even a shallow storage bin that slides underneath, I would recommend going with a different option. We are fine with it because we considered that issue before purchasing and my daughter decided she was fine without having bins underneath, but it might be frustrating for someone who is not expecting the frame to be so low.

Was so excited about this bed frame. It’s beautiful and we put it together in record time!Have to give it two stars because it arrived with a crack where the screw split the wood. The center support post was too tall so we had to remove the cap to keep the bed level.We’ve had it for a week and we love it, but these two things definitely made for a frustrating experience.

This bed was to replace my son's bed damaged by Hurricane Irma. He finally found one he likes and it arrives. The box looks like it had been through a war. We get the one-page instruction manual which would have been fine but as we go to put it together, we notice the pieces that are supposed to fit together do not as they are bent. There is no phone number listed for customer services so my only option is email. I send an email. It takes over 24 hours for them to respond to which they want a copy of my receipt downloaded and all this nonsense. Could you not just take model information and send me a new piece. The paint was chipping off the metal and in order to return it, the instructions say to return it in original box. Houdini could not have got this thing back in that battered box. My son and I are extremely disappointed.

I hit the lottery for garbage quality assurance I guess. The front and back metal brackets were bowed, plastic rubber feets were smashed in, and the middle bar was about 0.5 inch short (look at pic). I had to buy longer bolts, and make my own spacer out of spare wood to complete the assembly, which I should never have to do. It might be a good bed, but be wary, Zinus quality assurance might also be non-existent.

Amazing frame for storage under bed in small space. Easy to ensemble. Totaly worth the price.
