I Wish This Story Could Keep Going...
I love, love, loved this book. So, so much. I seriously wasn't ready for it to end. I yelled noooo when I saw Epilogue!!!I really enjoyed Tommy and Ginny together. All the secrets that came out in the first half of this book was just mind blowing. The twist and turns, jumping back in time and then forward was trying at times but still enjoyable.Tommy's love for Ginny was lovely to read as was Grizz's. Ginny is one lucky lady that is for sure. Tommy 's last chapter was devastating and I bawled my eyes out but do have to say how Beth wrote that part was beautiful and would like to believe that is how it could be at that time. Good to read Moe one more time. Simply Beautiful.Grizz was and is my hero. I love this guy and I enjoyed how his character grew and matured in this final book. He loved whole heartedly and how he came back into Ginnys life was just magic. If there was one thing I would have liked was so read a bit more of Grizz and Jason together and also Grizz with Mimi. Just bonding together would have been a great addition.I do understand that a line has to be drawn on where do you stop and what is the main story here but it would gave been fun to read about Grizz and Ginny finding about having twins and Grizz at the birth. Something about these big alpha males and babies I guess.Any who, I can't recommend not only this series but this author enough. I have thoroughly enjoyed Beth's easy writing style and her mind is crazy crazy to spin a tale like she has with this series. I look forward to reading more of her creations.

Not a total disappointment.....but
I was so excited about reading this book - I did put it off for a while though because I REALLY didn't want it to end. I like how this ended for the most part, but only because I really thought it was the way it should be. I found myself excited to see what happens with Mimi and Christian. This book doesn't get a 5-star for a few reasons.First - What in the world happened to Grizz?????? Grizz was so bad that you were pretty horrified that you ended up wanting him and Ginny together in the beginning. He did terrible things, he was COMPLETELY unapologetic, and he was who he was - the only thing that really made him redeemable was his crazy love for Ginny. I expected that Grizz would still be Grizz in this book. I would have definitely understood that he was more patient - 15 years of waiting can teach someone to be patient - but he came out in this book like Grizz-Lite rather than Grizz...it really felt like a different character. Then, there's Ginny - she irritated me more than a little. I didn't care for how she seemed to think Tommy could do no wrong despite all of the revelations that came out of book 2, but that could be more about Tommy than anything else...which brings me to my biggest irritation....Tommy - I hated him, and all of the crap he did in book 2 that (IMO) showed his true colors yet in this book that was all kinda skimmed over. It felt like the author really wanted Tommy to be the good guy, to be the "saint" that he tried to paint himself to be in Ginny's eyes all along when he was really not much different than Grizz ever was. The only difference was that Grizz was out in the open. You knew who he was and what he was all about but Tommy played games and pretended to be something he wasn't. It was very disappointing to me all around.Overall, this book left me a little more than disappointed - but still looking forward to what the author has planned since I'm really wondering about Christian and Mimi.

A "Gift" is exactly what this book is!
To say that I had been patiently waiting for this book to release would be a total and complete lie. I wasn't patient at all. I have thought obsessively about this book since the day I finished reading Out of Time. That's probably not even a true statement, I probably started obsessing about what would be in book 3 before I even finished reading book 2. Because so many things are happening. These three characters and their friends and families live in the most complex, intricate, multifaceted world I have ever seen.Everyone has been dying to know what happens. And if you've read the first two books, you know exactly the things I'm referring to. If you haven't read the first two books in the series, stop now and go read them!! Book 3 won't make a lick of sense to you if you haven't read the first two books in order.Ok, so the first thing I did when I started reading A Gift of Time was TAKE MY TIME. Because everyone has been waiting on pins and needles for this book, I know they'll race through it to find out what happens because they're just dying, you know? I know I felt like I was dying plenty of times whenever anyone would post their theories in Author Beth Flynn's Facebook group. Well, if you race through it, I feel pretty sure you'll want to turn right around and do a re-read right away because you'll have missed stuff! So I read it slowly, and I took notes! 10 pages of notes! Not because the book is hard to follow or too complicated of a read, but because I forget stuff I read in the last paragraph so I needed to make sure I didn't forget anything I thought was relevant. And I wrote down a lot of questions. Beth was a master at setting up each and every chapter. I wasn't sure I liked the third person narrative at first, but after a few chapters I actually loved it because even though a chapter was titled Ginny and we get mostly her thoughts in it, we still got Grizz's or Tommy's thoughts or actions as well so I didn't feel like I was missing anything by being in a Ginny POV chapter.Another note about the chapters. I seriously don't know how she did it, but Beth set them up in such a way that each chapter ended with me either gasping in surprise, stunned at something she reveals, or smiling happily when questions from previous chapters were answered. For someone who is considered a "relatively new" author, Beth has impressed me with her writing skills more than some of the authors I've been reading for years! We are introduced to some new characters in this book, and I can already see a few of them who I am hoping and praying Beth writes a story for. Mimi and Jason took center stage in this story with Ginny, and it was heartwarming to see how truly devoted to her children she is. I believe Beth mentioned somewhere that this book was really about Ginny and I couldn't agree more with that statement. We see Ginny truly grow and do a serious amount of soul searching in this book. As we saw in the other books, Ginny relies very heavily on her spiritual faith. She needs it to get through all of the challenges and tribulations she has faced in her life, and continues to face in this book. But she is a very strong woman, and her heart is pure and selfless. I admired her in the first two books, but seriously admired and respected her in this story. For me to say that I admire and respect a fictional character probably sounds silly, but she didn't feel fictional to me. None of the characters did, the story didn't and it takes a unique talent to be able to pull a reader so deeply into a story that you feel like the whole thing is real.I was really just blown away by this book and the conclusion to the Grizz/Ginny/Tommy saga. I hope it's truly not the conclusion for them though. I hope that if Beth writes some of the spin off books that the readers are already begging for that we get to still see them. That would make me very happy!Bravo, Beth!! This series is one that I can see myself re-reading continuously, and I bet that each time I do, I'll find some clue or tidbit that I missed the previous time reading. I am so, so happy that I found this series and this author! I am excited to find out what Beth has in store for us in the future.

If you haven't read this series yet you truly are missing some thing special!
This is the third and final book in the Nine Minutes trilogy. I have patiently waited for its release since binge reading the first two books! What can I say about this book? The wait was so worth it, it answers every question I had after the previous books. It was everything I expected and anticipated and much much more!Beth Flyn takes us on a very emotional ride with all the characters we had previously fallen in love with. It was so good to read about Grizz, Ginny and Grunt again I felt like I was finally being reunited with old friends! This series will always hold a special place in my heart, it's bitter sweet that it's the end, but I'm hoping for a spin off!Highly recommended not to be missed series, if you haven't read it you truly are missing some thing special! Five stars just isn't enough!

Time is Precious!!!
It's impossible to read this book without feeling like your world is going to come crashing down at any moment. You just don't know when or where.I'm so emotional right now, this book was everything and more.Beth certainly delivered with this Story. The build up to this books release had me so nervous to read it. How were things going to go for Ginny, Grizz and Grunt the anticipation nearly killed me.It's really difficult to say anything without spoiling for people but if you've read the first two in this trilogy you'll no doubt have many questions. All I say is you will get your answers. I did.Beth really delved into things so we found out more about Grizz. We all know he's a man who doesn't like to talk about or share things from his past.Ginny has been kept in the dark for some parts of his life now she wants the truth, the whole truth not just some version of it.Ginny is happily married to Tommy/Grunt. They've shared everything together had a child together. But Tommy just has these insecurities about his wife's feelings for another man. I guess he's always had them deep down, he just needs to know is he enough for her, is their life together with the kids enough? This book has so many emotions, you feel for all the characters it's hard not to.I think Beth did this book justice, it needed to go the way it did. I don't think it would of worked any other way. But you'll have to draw your own conclusion about that when you read it.Time is definitely a Gift we shouldn't take for granted.Brilliant book, highly recommend the whole Trilogy it's one I'll never forget. 5***** are nowhere near enough. xx <3

My Favourite Series Ever
I'm going to start this review with an apology to the author, I read this book when it came out and I've read it several times since but never put my review up hence the apology.Saying I liked this series is an understatement from the moment teasers started appearing for the 1st book I was obsessed. I bribed a Facebook friend to get my books signed when Beth was over here ( like I said obsessed )Grizz Ginny and Grunt's story has been a rollercoaster from start to finish. A story that evolves over years and the reader lives that story right along with them. We have followed Ginny and Grizz's love story from the moment he 'took' her and through all the pain and heartache they endured. It's no secret that I was always Team Grizz but I could still appreciate the way Tommy loved Ginny, he really stepped up and became the husband she deserved.I'm sorry this is the last book in the series but Beth gave us a story worthy of the characters and I can't wait to read what's next from the author.

It took me 2 weeks to write this review.
And two weeks later…None of the books in this series were easy to rate. Not a single bloody one.It was pretty much a hate and love relationship.A bumpy road where I’ve been oscillating betweenBecause of that, when book #3 came out I went into it with no expectations whatsoever.I just needed some answers and closure. Was book 3 the trip of my dreams? Not really. My issues:The POV’s. I almost gave up because of them. The back and forward in time, before execution, after execution. Phew!Geez!! I read to unwind and this was working NOT. I’ve decided to put this on hold. I was in a speedy mode and a little bit stressed out getting ready for my holiday. So, it could be me.As soon as I had my @ss stuck on a sandy beach and got myself in a sloooow mode I went back to this. The PoV’s started to make sense. The story acquired a different shape. I found a few answers. Ginny got on my nerves. Mimi grown on me in a very good way and I would love to be gifted with her own story next. Tommy never came even close to my heart. And Grizz… well, he was the best from this series. I was already on team Grizz and somehow I liked him even more in this story. I loved serene, patient, confident Grizz . I think the author did a fantastic job when crafting the person he became after prison. Swoon! Sadly, the eye rolling coincidences were again over the top. Like the nun who had a pic of Grizz and Ruth. The journal Tommy threw away retrieved by Grizz. Grizz having an insight that he had to read Moe’s journal because he knew he would find an answer about Sarah Jo *oh puh-lease*. The paternity tooth brush moment and so on. Everything fell into the right place too easy and too perfectly. To be honest, looking back, I still puzzled how I managed to keep reading this series with so many ups and downs. Even more, how I am rooting for Mimi’s story to happen. But here I am, wishing for it. What’s wrong with me?! Dunno.I’ll buy it for sure!

I thought her crime against Ginny was far worse than anyone else's
This is the conclusion to this story. I was unhappy that out of all the people who had done wrong to Ginny/Grizz Sarah Jo was the only one who did not get her just deserts. I thought her crime against Ginny was far worse than anyone else's. A little mental suffering was truly not enough. I was glad the way that Grunt's character was dealt with and I was not sorry at all.The final book had a spiritual flavour to it. The characters had reviewed their lives and atoned for their wrongs and were now wanting a peaceful existence for the rest of their lives, which I believe they found. Ginny handled the issues/secrets around her children very well. I was glad the couple got a second chance at happiness and James was able to get it right this second time around and not make all the mistakes he made the first time around. I thought Ginny was very hard on him to begin with but at the end of the day I understood her feelings of betrayal. The final book was about her strength to overcome all the secrets, loss and darkness she had to endure. She become a woman in her own right demonstrating that she could handle the truth of her past.Great series.Definitely worth a read. Great series.
