Sandvik steel is a high quality stainless steel that holds an edge well and is highly rust resistant - It's a perfect steel for a fillet knife.

Is this an ambidextrous sheath ? You Know, also for left handed people? (20% of the population)

Not sure if ambi but I know the sheath is total trash. It was the only reason I returned it and got the KastKing flier knife. WAY better all around. You won’t be disappointed.

How does this knife compare to the Rapala/Marttiini knives as far as edge retention and flex?

Compares well. Does great on panfish and crappie. Blade has good edge retention and is flexible as you would expect in a more expensive knife. Can't beat it for the price. Knife locks in rigid sheath to prevent loss.
