Wow, this book had me addicted from the first page until the last. It's the best kind of puzzle and also very emotional and deep and was written absolutely beautifully. I love Marni Mann, her writing style and the characters she writes are always a joy to explore.The characters in this book are very strong but like us all have their problems in life. There is the prologue, then it starts and there are two sets of characters that we follow all the way through the book. I have to say I loved them all equally. They were so real it was easy to connect with them and to become a part of their lives and the problems they were trying to cope with. My heart went out to these couples so much; the emotions were strong all the way through the book, obviously I was waiting for the ball to drop somewhere but when it did I never saw it coming for one minute and that is why I adore this authors work.So we live through the turbulent lives of these people through their eyes, each of the characters has a voice and it's told in duel POV for each couple. These problems are real everyday things that can occur to all of us, the high's and the lows were experienced and to be honest I felt like a close friend looking in from the outside. Marni Mann has weaved a web of twist and turns that kept me turning the pages well into the night, I just couldn't put it down, and when that ending came; I so wanted more.Exceptional writing and storytelling from one of my go to authors. Brilliant !!!

WOW!!! Before You was one of those stories that as you're reading it you just know something momentous is going to happen that'll pull the rug from under you and change everything.As I read the book I tried to imagine how the characters all fitted together, how their lives connected. There was so much depth to this story all the small details were pivotal to the truth but I still couldn't see it until it smacked me in the face, Marni always does a fantastic job at weaving a multi layered plot with a twist.I loved Billie and Jared from how they met to the truth being revealed they consumed me and that ending left me pondering with possibilities. I'd love to see a short novella to see if things worked out how I hoped.

This was a nice story but when the truth came to light I wasn't shocked or suprised at the revelation and what major part Jared played in it or the other couple who's story ran parallel to Billie & Jared's and who they were to Billie. A predictable story but still worth a read.

I've read a few books by this author now and I can't wait to read the rest of them. I absolutely love her writing style, I love the stories she writes, they keep you guessing to the end, with every chapter leaves you wanting to read the next, so it's hard to put down when you have to. A very addictive story that keeps you glued. I loved it. I can't wait to read more from her.

Before You by Marni Mann is a contemporary romance standalone novel ripe with twists and turns that keep you on tenterhooks the ENTIRE book. The main focus of the story is on Billie Paige, a renowned food vlogger and her trip to San Francisco where she meets Jared Morgan, her seat neighbor on the plane. But we also get two other storylines that take place woven throughout Billie and Jared's story. The melding of these threads as they come together towards the epic conclusion to this story is heartbreaking but also heart-mending. There is a happily ever after but good god does the author make you work for it! If you want an emotional story that may make you cry a little and feel sad a lot but also is spicy and steamy then I highly recommend this. Enjoy!

There were those you couldn’t help but look at and those you just shouldn’t look at.She was both.That was rare."I loved Jared something fierce even though he had me worried the better portion of the book. And Billie was so vibrant. A beautiful, strong, independent woman that was captivating. I could definitely see the appeal for Jared.Marni has a flawless, fluent narrative. Both concise and sharp but also so vivid and rich.Be prepared for some mystery, major confusion, the penny to drop and some heat and steam thrown into the mix!Take a chance on this food vlogger and security business owner. I promise they won't disappoint you with their very hard earned ending.
