The cables quality and connectors seem fine for the price paid. Bought this for connecting a headset to a pc. When using it with the motherboard built in sound card I had massive crosstalk issues where everything I was listening to was being bled into the mic input so other people could clearly hear it, it even happened with the headset mic muted using the inline mute button. When I removed the cable and plugged directly then the problem mostly went away. Having this extension inline amplified an issue that was already there but was so faint I never noticed it before. The only way I properly resolved this was buying an external usb sound card which removed the audio bleed using software. I don't think the issue is specific to this cable because if you read reviews for any of these 4 pole extension cables you will see similar complaints. This issue is because the output and input share a common ground wire and the longer the cable is the more audio will bleed between cables.

Good cable. Appears well made and sturdy. Works fine for my boys nintendo switch extending the range of his microphone headset. He can now play fortnite and talk to mates without constantly pulling the switch off the desk onto the floor.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews ... audio is distorted and crackles on one side.Have double checked my headphones and earphones i have tried to use with this extension and ALL of them work perfectly when directly connected to the TV. The problem only exists when this extension cable is used.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ... would give zero stars if that were possible... complete waste of money.

Purchase to extend headphones and microphone for Nintendo switch. Works perfectly. Now i can sit on my sofa use switch on docking mode using my tv.

The connection is not binding I have to pull the pin out slightly to get a decent sound originally blaming the new headset to later find the actual fault . Don't get me wrong it works but it's more of a plug fiddle and play could be a one off , but I'm not buying another .😊
