I don't think there is a better gimbal on the market than the ProMediaGear KatanaJr. The Leophoto design was inspired by it. Read the review title and you don't need to guess who has the advantage on price, it is significant. The biggest difference between these two products and almost every other gimbal on the market is how the adjustments are controlled. There is an internal clamping system at the bearings which allows for very fine precise adjustment of tension. All the other gimbals that are inspired by the Wimberly use direct pressure friction on the axel. Easiest way to see the difference is how the adjustment knobs are installed (vertical for the swing arm) vs inline for all the others.The quality and machining are tops. The weight is surprisingly light relative to other products.Most importantly is they didn't scrimp on the quality of the bearings. This product's movement is among the smoothest you will ever find. All you have to do is try it and the feel speaks for itselfThis should be a once in your life type of purchase. You will be gone long before you can wear this out.Highly endorsed. You will never regret this if the fine adjustment is what you want.
