Amazing idea, weighs gmsExtendable. The only thing you need to make sure of is to check your water pressure before purchasing. It does need a good water pressure to expand

rubbish. kept retracting while in use. waste of money.

Watch out!  Undoubtedly a well designed and manufactured product, but beware as the hose will contract extremely rapidly and precipitously from its maximum extent (in our case 7 metres) down to the minimum so that it's really only good for a distance of 3m max, for meaningful, sustained watering. Any watering beyond that distance can only be executed with short bursts so as to allow time for the hose to refill which is frustrating and frankly useless, like battling a recalcitrant snake.  We have asked for a replacement but since it was used just the once, they have refused.  I don't think it is too much to ask that they give an estimate of the coverage that they believe is reasonably achievable. We would have bought the appropriate one first time.  It's a bit of a shame really as I am impressed by the engineering of the fittings and the hose itself at least looks like it might last.
