BOSSTU-30 Metronome Tuner

This tuner is okay, but not great for the price you pay. First, the microphone doesn’t pick up the low E string unless I hold the tuner within an inch of the string. I have a tuner app (free version) on my phone that picks up the pitch better than this using just the microphone. I guess this is a great product if you don’t own a smart phone? I’m not that impressed with this thing. The only reason I bought this was because I wanted the convenience of separation between my phone and when I’m jamming on guitar. Particularly when my phone is on the charger in another room. This I can keep next to my music setup or leave in a jam space for anyone to use. However, a $10 mobile app can do everything this can, but with more accuracy, different sounds to choose from, more timing options, etc.The sounds this makes are the worst. The noises are so harsh compared to what I’m used to. From the reference pitch to the metronome clicker, they sound 8-bit from the 80’s. This tuner/metronome is best for kids who you won’t want using mobile devices (phone, tablet) or can’t afford one for them. Other than that, I can’t imagine this being useful in a modern tech world. Just my personal experience. Not meant to trash this device, just not impressed for the cost.

It works great, it keeps time as well as other electronic metronomes (Which is really very well, certainly far better than it would be possible for a human to keep rhythm even after years of practice, so that's more than good enough.) It "tunes" (measures the frequency of the sound from the guitar strings) exactly the same as other good quality tuners do. I expect it'll use batteries much faster than just a tuner would. What I can say is that a mechanical / clockwork metronome is much cooler and makes a nicer sound, but is also a lot more expensive.

I don't recommend this Metronome. It's not accurate after 1 month use.

This tuner/ metronome looks nice in the picture but it’s too small and there is no backlight. Just not for me.

We like this Metronome! It is easy to use. Our violin instructor showed us some short cuts without having to read the instructions. It’s easy to tune a violin. It is very helpful in keeping my son playing to the best and not racing through the violin piece. Great value for the money. Would definitely buy and recommend this metronome.

Boss makes the best guitar electronics, period. This tuner is no exception. Easy to use, way more accurate than phone apps, and very affordable.

As a blind guitarist I have always struggled to find an accessible tuning tool. I tune the guitar by ear, and I use the device to fine tune each string.

The metronome is pretty useless because there is no volume control. The sound of any instrument will drown out the pathetic beep of this unit.I'm not giving this 0 stars because it is possible the tuner works well, but I am going to return the unit.

Metronomo utile e con tutte le funzioni necessarie anche per professionisti, il volume è un po' tenue ma può essere messo in cuffia!

El equipo es funcional acorde a lo que menciona pero por el precio deberia ser mas rapido.
