STINGER Wrangler JK 2011-2018 Installation Kit for HEIGH10 10" Radio (SR-JK11H)

Super easy install. Watched multiple videos of Eric and his epic beard on YouTube to prep for the install and it was as easy as he made it seem. Easy plug-and-play install of the wiring took minutes. Watch the install videos and keep them by your side during the install. Super helpful. I will say that it was a bit harder to actually mount the screen/bezel. The "push in and up" method took a bit more elbow grease than I was comfortable with. Perhaps the metal mount under the bezel was a fraction of an inch too deep. I ended up putting some knicks around the opening in the dash, but this screen is never coming off so no one will ever know unless they read this review. Well worth the extra $$$ to make your life a bit easier and make it look like your JK rolled off the assembly line with the High10 installed.

I was super excited about how easy this product was supposed to make the radio installation. After getting everything sorted and connected, there was no sound from the speakers. I obviously thought it was my mistake and uninstalled then reinstalled the entire harness and radio. Again, no sound! Because tech support was closed on that dater day, we started in all the obvious places, Google and the owners manual, to find an answer, but still nothing. Finally after a while of digging we found out that some of the harnesses were sent out with wires crossed.So, two trips to the auto parts store for connectors later, I had to rewire the harness. This completely defeated the whole reason why I bought the $400+ Plug-and-play kit!Finally, after the fourth installation of the kit, everything worked.Then the real fun began! After watching the install video for the 1,000,000,000 time, I was sure that I was on the home stretch. WRONG! My guess is that after installing, uninstalling, and then reinstalling the kit so many times, it warped!The “TA-DA” snap into to place that looked to take about three seconds on the install video to hours, along with another uninstall and reinstall. I’m guessing that what they didn’t show in the video was the magic wand the installer had in his pocket. The only trouble shooting directive if you couldn’t get it snapped in was to push harder.I truly feel that this kit was a complete waste of money and a whole bunch of my time!Yep, basically paid $400+ for a trim ring.

This kit makes it really easy to retrofit the Height 10 radio to your Jeep wrangler. Watch video a few times and it will be simple. Took me 3 hours but can probably done quicker. I had a rear camera I also installed. Highly Recommend it.

Perfect product easy to install
