Great little workhorse!!
I've had this saw a few months and thought it was handy, easy to use, powerful. But now I am really impressed! Hurricane Beryl toppled a 40' sycamore tree on our property (thankfully away from an structures). My husband went to work on the trunk and I cut the upper limbs with my Worx saw, 2" - 3" branches mostly, sometimes up to 5". Over 2 afternoons, I had to change the battery only once, well into the 2nd afternoon. I oiled it here and there while I was working (make sure to keep it well oiled). The little squirt bottle provided makes it easy. This little saw never missed a beat... kept up with my husband's big Stihl chainsaw through the whole process. The saw is not heavy, easy to handle, I love the upper saw cover for safety. The battery charger provided charges really fast. I also have a Worx weedeater that I just love, so I have an extra battery. Great to have an extra battery for a big job. If you've used battery powered equipment in the past and were disappointed with the lack of power, you won't be disappointed with Worx Powershare equipment - very impressive. You may not need it often, but when you need it, you'll be so happy you have it. Makes a really great gift too, especially for older folks who may not have the strength to handle a larger saw, or anyone who doesn't want to handle a full size chain saw for safety reasons. So I have a new item on my hurricane preparedness checklist...make sure all the Worx batteries are fully charged!

Very Handy Power Tool
First of all, I love Worx products for their ease, reliability and customer service, not just the battery swapping. I have a small yard but I do a lot of gardening. I'm older and have a hard time with most chain saws. And let's face it, I'm not going to cut down a large tree ever. This little guy is perfect for what I need. It's small, light weight but can easily cut through shrub trunks, smaller tree branches and roots. It also works well for some pruning, especially as the hand use is different than for manual pruners. You're just using one arm and only need a small amount of pressure, which is great with my arthritis. My younger friend who does a lot of garden work is always borrowing it. (Might have to give her one for her upcoming birthday). I get a lot of use on one battery. I'm very pleased with this purchase after using it for almost one year

PERFECT for Boxwood Rose Bush trim
I purchased this chainsaw during the holidays and used it for a few small projects, including cutting up the massive packaging and cardboard from a tv I purchased. It worked better than expected and this weekend, I finally had the chance to try it outside. Each year I've completely dreaded cutting back my rose bush. My long trimmer was unwieldy and I inevitably poked myself with thorns repeatedly trying to use a large tool to cut the bush. This is where the Worx mini really shines! I had that bush cut down in 1/3 the time with ease and no cut up appendages. It cut the branches like butter. If you have a boxwood rose bush or anything similar, do yourself a favor and check this out. It was the perfect tool for the job.

When you don't need bigger chainsaw
Ok, this is a bit of an aside .. I have other worx products and the battery IS interchangeable (use on multiple tools), which makes this good to have as add on tool I do have smaller trees with too low hanging branches (and also too thick bushes, that need some trimming back) and for that purpose (smaller branches, not taking down trees, but thinning out interior of the shrub), this does serve its purpose And I'm not getting any younger, so I need power assist with everything nowadays (using manual loppers or hand saw is hard on arthritic hands) I can easily add oil. One thing about ALL tools (a particular pain point for me) is my LEFT HANDEDNESS! it is difficult for me (I need to think and really use a hand control that is NOT intuitive to me but doesn't present a challenge to those who are right handers) which means every time, I pull out manual, read, do NOT insert battery until ready to use), then get into a good position where not too far from limb before click battery in place and run. Just be safe while using. Not something for teens or kids. Be aware of body position too. (I always am). It is a little heavy for arthritic hands, but doable. I liked ease of cutting and ease of adding more oil as needed

Absolutely Great Saw
This saw really is a great product. I opened the package and set up the saw in a minute or 2 and already had a fresh battery because I buy quite a few WORX products and the batteries are interchangeable. The saw is actually pretty light, even with the battery pack. I first oiled the chain, then I started by cutting a smaller size tree and was amazed how this saw cut thru the tree so easily. It really does have great power & speed and it did an excellent job! This saw was a bit pricier than some of the off-brand saws for sale on Amazon, but personally, I prefer to buy a product/brand that I have already used and WORX products have always been great for me. The packaging includes a small oiler bottle (you have to buy the oil separately). My only small complaint is that this saw does not have an auto oiler feature, but you just manually oil the saw regularly with included oiler container when using it and it is very easy to do yourself. I recommend manually oiling the chain every 5-10 minutes to keep it operating smoothly. I would absolutely buy this product again without question. WORX products are definitely the way to go! I highly recommend this product!

If you are on the fence about purchasing this tool, buy it! It works so well and easily removes trees from your yard. I’m so happy with this purchase. The battery also last a very long time.

I was looking for a small, hatchet-like chainsaw and there are a lot of listed at everywhere, including Amazon. I've picked this up since the brand is quite reputable and been there more than 10 years or so. This brand itself is owned by a Chinese company but as far as I know, the technical/engineering staffs are ex-Bosch. I've cut a few tree branches and shrubs that are too thick to deal with manual loppers and it works like a magic. Pros: 1. The large handguard is quite useful. It can bounce pulps almost completely! Also the top cover prevents those debris hitting user's face. 2. The weight distribution is really good. This saw itself is NOT exactly lightweight for non-professionals like me. I've never done any heavy gardening in my life at all. But when holding the saw with my dominant hand, it feels light which means an excellent design. 3. Unlike those cheaper options, you do not need any tools to access the chain. 4. This package is quite more expensive than the .9 variant, the 'tool only' one. But the included charger is no-nonsense. I've charged like 30 minutes right after unpacking the product, and the battery lasted more than 2-30 cuts of hard ~2" thick branches. Fast charging and good lifetime combined. I did not expect such long operation time with a brushed motor product. 5. Assembly instruction at the guide bar is also helpful. Some caveats: 1. The safety switch location is a bit weird unless you have the King Kong sized hands. But I can press it with my dominant hand's index finger (not the fingertip) then pull the trigger with middle finger. At least the safety switch is made for ambidextrous. You can access it regardless your dominant hands, unlike those cheaper alternatives. 2. It is not brushless motor. Thus, the spindle RPM is not very fast. This can be a safety concern since the chainsaw will bounce off the target. So, you better pull the trigger before starting the cut. On the other hand, due to the nature of 'one' hand usage, you'll be holding the branch with your non-dominant hand a lot. Watch out for those bounce. 3. At the bottom, where the battery mount is, you can even see the motor. The opening may allow some debris to enter and contaminate the motor. 4. The included L wrench for chain tension adjustment is a bit low quality. The paint scratches out easily. 5. No dedicated lubrication oil chamber. So you better carry the oil bottle with it. But then again, those cheap pruning chainsaws normally have terrible oiling mechanics which drips the lubrication oil all over around. So, it could be better not to have the oil chamber for small blade chainsaw? 6. Brushed motor. Although it might be suitable for pruning, having a brushless motor would be much better in terms of maintenance and longevity. After all, pretty good implementation of 'one' hand chainsaw. Not very large and heavy as those 'big name' models but way more useful than those cheaper alternatives. I'm considering to invest more onto WORX ecosystem thanks to the fast charger. Perhaps some power tools with 'Nitro' badge, brushless motor versions.
