The piece you receive is for small projects like this. Worked great for what I needed it for. I made doll shoes. Color looks just as pictured. Thickness was thin-medium. Soft inside, smooth outside.

Made a first time badge holder. Too soft for the purpose so i had to add a acrylic sheet for stiffness but good leather.

I love the turquoise one, it’s nice and soft and natural. The tan one is stiff and not very workable. Not my favorite. Also they picture three but then there’s an option to only purchase one. So be careful on how many you order.

A couple of months ago, I bought a foot square piece of this same leather to make into a pouch for my antique pocket watch. I misjudged the size and found the pouch a little too small, so I decided to make another one, and so I bought this piece of leather, with the idea that I would use a strip of the first purchase to make a gusset in the second pouch. Well, the normal variation in the color of the leather made that an unacceptable option. I devised another approach, and I’m happy with the result, but I am now wiser by the realization that the natural variation in colors of otherwise similar pieces of leather is greater than I previously realized. Here’s my word to the wise.

I used it to make a new skin for my camera as the old rubber one was stretched and falling off. It was easy to cut, easy to glue, and no smell or staining. The back side was a little rough so a quick once over with a lighter smoothed it out so that it would pay flatter

Item was great. Delivery was not. The item was left in the rain. Very Disappointed.
