This is a great tool for the job. Feels sturdy, very nice grip. Blade itself can be replaced, so if anything goes wrong you can simply buy a replacement blade. Shouldn't happen though unless you're doing this for a living and you use it a lot. For a DIY'er it should last years. Makes life a lot easier too, I'd go for even wider one right now. Still having that, I don't regret buying this at all.

This has been such a good purchase. The home we naught is a very very old building and every single wall had that awful woodchip, so after taking it all off the walls underneath needed to be re plastered, and while in hindsight it would have been quicker to just replaced the plasterboard after spending that much time getting lapsed off I just pushed forward with the plastering, and what a difference this made, I did read some reviews about needing to file the blade before using but I did not need to do this. It was perfectly smooth and the corners were rounded already.The design makes it easy to grip and glides effortlessly over the skim.Completely worth every penny!

For more occasional DIY use, a reasonably priced alternative to the very expensive pro brand.

I discovered this style of blade at the '22 National Decorators expo. Previously I always used my trusty 9" (handled) blade but this beast is a dream to use. There's a slight knack if you wish to fully load this blade, but damn it makes smoothing large areas a dream — I'm a pro decorator, so I know.Recommended.

You can’t get anything better for this price

The ergonomic handle gives you full control on pulling the plaster mix level and smooth, it gives the same result as the more expensive models, I can't fault it, I have been trying to plaster looking at all the available videos online, I have every type of plaster trowels and I can honestly say although I got there in the end with what I was recommended nothing beats this ********** 10 stars because Amazon only lets you give 5

I am not a professional plasterer, just a DIY beginner and this has helped me do a Skimming job so much easier. Great product.
