Great Color ... Good Blend of Cotton & Polyester
I read the reviews on this ... and yes, the yarn did tend to split, but I got used to it before too long. I used the yarn to make some coasters as a take-home gifts for everyone at a Bridal Shower and they were a hit. The bride-to-be wanted all of the extras! I had to buy some more of this yarn to make a few extras for some additional requests. I found the touch of polyester to work well. A little less bulky than all cotton, yet still absorbent! Just love this shade of denim.Because of the splitting, I gave this product 4 stars. But, I admit ... after a few coasters, I got used to it and the splitting became easier to avoid. A non-issue after a bit.

3rd order much poorer quality than 1st & 2nd
At first I really liked this yarn. 85% cotton 15% poly. Worked my way through 2 cones of the stuff--made an excellent baby blanket in basketweave crochet stitch. However the 3rd order was poorer quality. Split like crazy, lots of knots. But people really comment on items made with it so I'll order again just hope the quality improves.

Good but color bleeds
Works up well. Remember that cotton does not slide through your hooks as easily as synthetic yarn. I made dish towels out of this. They looked great until I washed them. The color bled, leaving the colors looking really faded. Because of the denim coloring this is ok, but i would have liked to retain some of the deeper blue (especially in a cold wash.

Wouldn't recommend this yarn.
I wanted the yarn for crochet pot holders. Although it is a #4 yarn it in no way compares to the #4 sugar and cream yarn. In order to make a good pot holder, you'd have to crochet two stands together. I didn't not complete a project so didn't "use" it but, didn't feel like it would have been very absorbent for even dish cloths.

I'm sad it's gone
I really love this particular color of yarn (I make potholders) and was sad that it was no longer in stock when I went to re-order.

Slippery texture
I usually knit dishcloths with "Peaches 'n Creme" all-cotton yarn. This is 15 percent polyester, I believe. In usage the polyester may be helpful. But knitting it, the yarn was a little slippery. I expect the cloths themselves may not be as absorbent. I'm going back to Peaches 'n Creme; it did not come in this color.

Exactly what I wanted
I used this to make a dishcloth. It worked out great.

VERY VERSATILE.
I like this yarn for dishcloths. It is not as thick as some other cotton yarns. So it makes the cloth more flexible and easier to wring out and dry.
