Nice speaker, good audio quality
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Rating: 4.5/5What I Like:-Lots of bass response-Easy to pair and control-Very long battery life for a bluetooth speaker-Ability to charge a phone while using-The 2-channel multi speaker setup is super cool! What I Don't Like:-Treble is a little muffled-Rubber rings do not feel water tightConclusion: An above average speaker in terms of sound quality for the price. I really like the bass response, but the treble is slightly muffled. When paired into a group of two these speakers are capable of filling the room with rich, warm sound, though they won't match a high end wired speakers.Video transcript:The build of this speaker is unique. The front is covered in woven material that is actually a bit fuzzy. I started calling it the carpet speaker. The material is tightly woven, presumably to keep the speaker waterproof, but I wouldn't trust the speaker underwater because these little rubber bands around the sides are not glued in place and just come right off.Audio quality is the most important part of the speaker and it's alright. A single one of these speakers has decent overall audio quality, with very good bass response for the size. The treble feels a bit muffled, likely due to the tightly woven material covering the face. As a single speaker I prefer the sound from GGSDY's other speaker, Hapiya S777 , but these S111s have a feature that changes them from merely good to great: two units can be paired in a stereo group to produce richer and more filling sound.I wanted to test this so I went and got myself a second speaker and needless to say it works quite well. The different between having one and two speakers is unbelievable. The sound is richer, more filling and lifelike. Music sounds 10x better this way, and because of this feature these are now my go-to beach/party speakers where one speaker won't do. It's worth noting that in stereo mode there is lots of lag so it doesn't work too well with movies or TV, but for music the difference it makes is great. In conclusion, on its own this speaker sound is above average but paired with a second the sound quality is far better.-DrekiTechNOTE: Speaker received complimentary in exchange for my unbiased review.

Good sound, nice features, challenging controls....
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This speaker performs capably for a product in the crowded under $50 Bluetooth speaker market. Overall, its long battery life will get you through most days and part of the night, and its integrated power bank can charge fading devices until you get back to AC power. It paired readily with both Android and Apple devices.Sound was good; its cylindrical shape means more flexibility for user placement. Overall, it did fine in reproduction of .mp3 sources (you can pair two of these for two-channel sound; since I only had one, I couldn't test this), with no obvious over or under emphasis of bass, midrange or high tones. If your Bluetooth source is a phone, then this will serve as a hands free speakerphone (and pause the programming for the duration of the call). Its IPX4 rating means it will stand up to water splashed (from any direction). The description indicates "splash-proof", "dust-proof" and "shock-proof" (and specifically states non-immersible!). I did not deliberately test any of these capabilities, but would be comfortable using it in the elements. Why four stars instead of five? The on-speaker controls are raised on the black rubberized cylinder ends; they are difficult to distinguish in daylight, and would be nearly impossible to distinguish in low light. If you want to control volume, track or other functions: you'd better do all that you can from the phone, because it's a definite interface challenge on the speaker itself.Note: this item provided for review purposes.

Hapyia Mini Soundbar. Grade: C+/B-
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The Hapyia portable mini soundbar, is in my opinion, for a certain buyer in mind: budget/ teenager/ office cubicle. The sound is okay. There's next to no bass to speaker of, especially, if you're have or have heard other speaker bars. Now, the good of this is that this speaker packs a lot of other "features" that's very handy to have and it's these features that I think people who own it would appreciate having and would actually use.Having mentioned that the overall sound is average to mediocre, it is on par with what you'd expect to have for a sub $50 speaker. The bar, in my estimation, should be too high at this price point. Now when you add+ External battery features+ Analog port (when the battery has been depleted)+ Rugged body. (I don't see speaker being significantly damaged by fall.) Now the manufactures pleads with the buyer to be careful of having the speaker near water despite its "6" waterproof rating. "6" is NOT waterproof and not near anything that you'd consider water resistant. The ports around the speaker are either open or easily lifted from its position. The speaker gets a passing grade of C+ for sound reproduction and extra credit for the added features but if this were priced higher and near what you'd pay for a premium soundbar, this would certainly get a failing grade.Product provided for review by the seller
