Was expecting something with a peppery smell, something a bit spicy given the 'blackspice' name. But, upon receipt, I unscrewed the bottle top and sniffed long and hard. Nothing. Just in case it was me, I asked my partner to do the same and that was confirmed. I then applied it to my beard and I can smell nothing at all, nor any sort of conditioning. So, it doesn't deliver for me in any way. Waste of money as far as I'm concerned. If I could give a zero rating, I would. Sorry.

+ Light, nice scent*.+ Not too heavy, conditions well.– Bottle should have a better method of dispensing, gets really messy.– *Scent isn't perceptible once applied on my beard and could do with a teeny tiny amping up.A good oil that isn't too heavy, with a nice but barely imperceptible fragrance (at least on my beard). This works well, however while the oil itself is good the bottle itself isn't—the very act of dispensing the oil causes leakage more-often-than-not, and a messy bottle. An eye-dropper or other method would have been preferable. Shame because it's a good oil.

I decided to try this along with the beard wash as the price seems very reasonable compared to most of its competitors and I've really liked the black pepper stuff I've tried from other brands.It smells pretty good, not too strong and keeps my beard in good condition, I'm going to stick with it I think.Edit: knocked a couple of stars off as both the beard wash and oil have doubled in price since I bought them, I guess it was just an introductory rate...

Value was great as it was hugely discounted on an Amazon sale day.I’ve used other Mancave beard products before so pleased to give this a try.Rubs easily into the skin and seems to work well to keep the oil of the skin balanced, meaning my beard is softer and less dry.I prefer the smell from the Blackspice beard cream, which is a bit stronger than the oil, but happy with this oil.
