I absolutely love the line of visors from Covercraft. I have 3 vehicles and I have a covercraft for each one. They are made of a thick material that will help with years of wear and tear. These do not just fold over in half like the tin foil ones from your big box stores. For this Ram 1500, Just collapse it and place it behind the seat. Good to go... there are also no elastic straps or bags for storage. Not needed in my opinion, Straps will just get stretched, and a bag is not convenient for lots of use. The space around the rear mirror is just a Dodge design and nothing I would expect Covercraft to redo or give negative comment for that. It is what it is.. Overall its a good fit, with some space around the mirror... I would definitely buy again if I ever need to.

The shield fits so well there's hardly a gap anywhere. Easy to install and remove. The shield can get a little warm so handle with care, but it does keep the heat out of the rest of the car well.

I buy these for every vehicle I've had since 2005. It is actually the first thing I buy for the vehicle. If you don't know what these are like, then are fairly hard panels that fold flat. Think as hard as a few pieces of cardboard stacked on each other. They greatly reduce the heat in the interior, and more or less prevent your dash from cracking due to heat. It probably helps fabric/leather fading as well. It fits the windshield opening like a glove.Yeah the price is more than the $10 walmart specials, but it fits perfectly and doesn't fall apart. Plus it makes the car look nice/sophisticated instead of looking like you used tin foil. The leatherette pouch (Didn't come with mine, but is available separately) is a nice touch. I will admit though, I don't use it.

I buy one of these for every vehicle I own. I've tried others but nothing comes close to the quality of these heat shields. These fold up nicely and are WAY easier to put away than the expensive roll up ones. I live in SoCal and I can tell this product is working great when the out side of the shield is really hot and the cloth inside of the shield is ice cold. The last accordion style heat shield I bought got red hot all the way through. I brought it back to Walmart the next day and ordered one of these for my 06 Dodge Ram. You would be a fool to not invest in one of these.The only thing I would like to see the manufacturer do is make the "U" cut out for the rear view mirror smaller. It would offer even better protection if that space was 3-4 inches smaller.

Bought one for my Ram and my Passat. Recommend to all mt friends. Worth $60? Absolutely. The first one I had lasted 7 years....in the brutal Las Vegas sun. Better than buying one $10 cheap one every year that sprinkles glitter all over your dash.

I have one of these for my Ford Focus and one for my Dodge Ram - Living in the Phoenix area it's a priority for everyone to avoid Heat and Direct sunlight wherever possible and these sunshades really work. Both fit well and are easy to put up and take down . The only downside for me is that they are not easy to store because they are rigid so they need to be stored flat, on the other hand being rigid is one of the things that make them easy to put up and take down. Overall the best sunshades that I could find
